I love millet, spinach, nutriberries and seeds. I will try anything once.

I love to follow Joey around wherever he goes. I also love to hang out on the climbing tree and cagetops or pillage and destroy things in Sunny's cage.

I don't like people getting too near my cage. I am very shy. I hate diets!

She lets me out and spoils me with all sorts of 'tiel desirables! She is also very gentle with me and never asks me to do more than I am comfortable with. I was terrified of people when she first bought me and I am now comfortable sitting on her hand and searching for treats in her fingers. I am facinated how she scratches Sunny's head. Maybe someday, when I am ready, I'll let her scratch mine...

I am over zealous with egg laying and have to be on a special diet to curb my hormones to avoid lupron shots. I am also an escape artist! I figured out how to slide up my feeder doors and get out. My pet human thought she was smart and put quick links on them to keep me in. I merely undid them and escaped again! She tightened them really hard this time and said that if I did it again, she would put little pad-locks on my feeder doors. I'm still working on it- CLANK CLANK....

If you can't rule the roost, rule the rooster. I absolutely love Joey!.

V4U today. Just posted a new picture of the 3 baby robins in the nest on Mayo's page. They sure have grown! Their feathers are in now so I bet they will be flying off on their own pretty soon. V4U today. The weekend was nice, but it went by way too fast. Part of it was spent working on the lawn and garden, along with staining the deck. V4U today. Our weather has been nice, but the stormy weather is heading our way tomorrow. We needed to get caught up with lots of lawn and gardening chores last weekend, it was nice talking to all the neighbors again. During winter nobody is out talking in that cold weather. Yes, dad did have a pretty good day. He hadn't been to a shooting range in years and if he had more bullets and a lot of money, he'd still be there.
Our weather is real nice. It was a bit windy but that cleaned the air and made the sky crystal clear.

You've got it right. A lunitic. They'll get caught. it's just a matter of time.
Today was dad's hatchday so he and mom went out to breakfast. Then he dropped mom off at the mall and then wondered what he would do so he spent the afternoon at the shooting range. About 4pm he ran out of money and bullets so he picked up mom and met up with a friend and went to dinner. They got home real late. So much for us.
Hope our day was fun.

V4U today. We had such a nice Easter, hope you did, too. Mom is still busy getting caught up with everything. She posted a picture of the lamb cake she made for Easter. This is the first year ever that our Easter lamb cake had a jelly bean mouth. As mom poured the bag of jelly beans into a bowl, all of them were oval except for 1 which happened to look like a smile. Can you believe that out of that entire bag of jelly beans, there was one shaped just like a smile! Never saw a jelly bean shaped like that before. It sure gave everyone a laugh. You should see Skye and Rio go after corn on the cob. They "distroy" the entire cob after the eat the corn. Boy, whatta mess.
We were offline yesterday. Some dummy stole a section of phone cable and 200 homes were withoug telephone service. It was fixed late last night.

Dad gives us those popcorn on a cob thingies, too. They're great. Ginger likes them unpopped. She chews the corn off and then chewd up the cob.

V4U today. Chicklet told us that she was so surprised to see her picture for BOTD. LOL :) I bet she had a lot of blogs to answer. V4U today. Yeah, that Easter lamb cake is yummy, so we hear. Mom won't let our flock have any of it, but that's ok since we get veggies from the meal. Our flock requested corn on the cob, one of our very favorites, but mom says it's not for the Easter table. LOL :) The weather here is still crummy. V4U today. I suppose that Chicklet is getting lots of attention on her Hatchday today. Sounds like a good time for you 'tiels to sneak out of your cages and chew your mom's wicker furniture. LOL :) Our weather has been up and down, stormy, and from warm to freezing cold. Typical spring weather. Easter will soon be here, and mom has the pound cake mix, frosting and jelly beans already waiting on the kitchen counter top. She always bakes the pound cake Easter lamb each year. Hmmm, maybe dad should borrow Chicklet? One time dad was trying to get the cork out and ended up pushing the cork all the way into tht bottle. They had to drink the whole bottle cuz there was no way to cork it back up. Hmm, I wonder if he did it on purpose?

Our mom and dad went on a two day wine tasting tour. They went to four local wineries, in the Temecula Valley area. These are small, family owned and run wineries and only seel their wines at their wineries and through their wine clubs. The wine is superb.

V4U today. I like your St. Patrick's Day picture. It's very cute. :) Looks like you have your eyes pinned right on that pot o' gold, or is that actually a pot o' millet? LOL :) Mom made some veggie soup yesterday, and gave our flock some apple. I of course didn't bother with the apple, but Mayo and Dandy ate it. The other day mom said I was so cute. She saw me perched in my coconut hut looking for millet. Yes, of course she put a little piece of it in there for me. How could she say no to this sweet face? V4U today. So Cleo is the bossy one of your flock? At our house I must admit that it's Dandy. Ok, maybe she's not so bossy, but she is loud and opinionated. LOL :) Well, the sun is finally shining today. Our flock has been chirping a lot today. We've been discussing the robins that keep flying around our house looking for nest building sites. V4U today. Dandy says thank you for the Hatchday wishes. :) It was a quieter than usual hatchday for Dandy. The rain was coming down so hard, and our whole flock was pretty quiet most of the day. Today is another story, and we've been making up for lost time. LOL :) Yes, mom sure does love that chicken in the picture. I tried to push it off of my play yard, but it wouldn't budge. Dandy kept trying to bite it and Mayo gave it a crabby face. The chicken is happier back with the Easter decorations and we are happy that it left our play yards! V4U today. Our weather is finally getting better. It was snowy and stormy for a while, glad that's all overwith. So do you have any flower bulbs planted? I bet that stellar jay would have fun digging them up. LOL :) So far just the hyacinths are popping up ever so slightly, they are right at ground level. They always seem to be the very first bulbs to come back. We also have tulip, daffodil, daylily and grape hyacinth bulbs. Our Easter lilies come back every year, too. Have a good day, Poppy. I used to love to take showes in the kitchen sink but lately I haven't wanted to. I don't know why.
Some of our flockmates love to take baths in their water cups but nowhere else. I think it's funny.
