 I lived in a very stressful home, I was screaming at everything, especially my mom and dad. There were so many other animals in the house and the great danes were just too much! So I found a new home that was quiet and relaxed, and where I can get lots more attention. I don't scream anymore, but I learned that I can whistle even louder than I can scream!. |

Thanks for visiting me! When mom first got a shower perch, I didn't know what to think of it--just sat there the whole time. Now I flap my wings and sometimes even fly off of it to be right under the water. Yeah, baths are so much fun!Come visit me, Figaro & BeBe.

Not much going on here. Hope your kitty is ok. It must be that time of year because mom just told me about the little feathers that I'm leaving all over, she said as many feathers that were on the bottom of the cage I should not have had any left. I am working on comming out of my cage mom says I stay in to much but when she comes to take me out I run to the back of the cage. Come visit me, Neko & Shasta.

Sorry i couldnt visit you sooner...i had to have a few more visits with the vet man. I started saying 'yummy' as i ate my poop and mum was worried. Luckily the vet man is smart, he understands me and told mum i was just doing it to get her attention! But now i have a sore throat so i have to have medication to get better. Im so glad mum mixes it into passionfruit...thats yummy.
Its nice to know that you like showers too. But the feather dryer is too loud and scary sometimes. i like to be on mums shoulder so i can hide under her hair. see you soon.Come visit me, Fistik.

You are really pretty, im so glad to meet you and thanks for dropping by to see me, with your nice friend Edgar. Heres a vote to say thank you. Mum is just about to give me a nice warm shower, and i look forward to her giving me a nice cuddle in my fluffy towel. Its a cold winter day today, but mum will put the heater on for me. Mum was worried 3 weeks ago because she thought i was agitated and was biting her for no reason. Im really glad my vet man told her to keep a heater on in my room during the night. Now i sleep really well, so im happy during the day. I hope to see you soon. Fistik.Come visit me, Fistik.

You are a gorgeous bird! You could be my sister. I was a rescue bird, too, and I came from a home that was almost as stressful as yours was. I was living with 2 dogs, a cat and 5 birds in a very tiny apartment. Now I live with 3 other parrots in a nice house and I have a nice, new large cage. (There are no dogs or cats here...just birds, and I love that!) I have been here only 2 months, but I am adjusting and I love my new home and my new flock. I am sorry that you have lost one of your legts, but it looks like you have adjusted nicely; and it seems that your family loves you very much and gives you wonderful care. If you don't mind me asking, how did you lose your leg? You are a gorgeous parrot! I just went through a "mojo" molt before Mom adopted me, and I hope that my feathers come back so that I can be as pretty as you are! Us ekkies has to stick together!!! Fly on in for a visit any time!
