 I was handfeeding and placing baby birds for awhile. I handfed and placed Sprite, but within a month they decided they couldn't handle the bird. She/he came home to live with us forever.. |

Hey Sprite we love all your pictures! Mom read up on you green-cheeks.She has two books on conures so far.She believes she would like to have a pair one day.Actually the cage she bought that the lovebirds are in she originally bought for green-cheeks.The lovies needed a place to call home so they came here and mom decided the cage they came in wasn't big enough for her liking so gave them the new one.Bet you are so much fun to be around.Can I ask a question? Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Hi Sprite!
What a cutie you are! You're motto is sooo true too! Here’s a vote for you and a birdie poem: I love birds, I love them so, Life without them I’ll never know. Each day starts with a meeting, Chirps and whistles it’s their own special greeting. Fresh fruits and veggies to wash and chop, Served with warm birdie bread to fill each crop. Toys of wood, leather and bells, Makes for fun with loud squawking yells. Feathers and pellets all over my floor, Does not deter me from loving them more. As the sun fades we share kisses and scritches, Then it’s off to each cage with sweet dream wishes. I have never been To Texas, but have heard it is a beautiful place to visit in the fall, lot's of county fairs and stuff.
I'm glad he has such a wonderful home now, nice cage lot's of toys. My Peeps can never get too much attention as well. I was originally going to have my first bird be a conure, they are just so loveable, but I got Peeps instead as his parents moved to Thailand and couln't bring him along. Peeps is very loveable, spunky and in your face, that is why i adore him. Have a majical time with your Sprite!Come visit me, Peeps.
