A young couple was in their 9th month of pregnancy and could no longer handle cat, dog and parrot. After we found out they just let their cat go off the 2nd floor balcolny, we took the bird in so they would not let it out in the wild. Since he is a very tempermental bird, he only like me right now. At the begining, he only like my husband. After me moved and my husband has to start his shift at 4am and comes home and takes a nap, I am the one who does all the food and water. So now he has started to bond with me. People tell us that we have gotten a long way with him for such a short time. He gets on my shoulder and will walk around with me and he has only been with us a year.. Awards

Timneh African Grey

Aunt Millies Apple Cranberry bread, PEANUTS and my husband's ear

on top of the rabbits or other birds cages-tries to bite them, or on his play pen in the morning in the living room waiting for his half slice of Aunt Milies Apple & Cranberry Bread

My husband-or men in general, anyone coming near his cage but me-even other animals

"Since I am still new to my family, I still can be very angry at times. I try my best to do good and not try and torment the other animals, but Hey what can a guy do for fun around here?"

hears us pull in with car or motorcycle and starts WALKING around on the floor to find me-other animals just run for thier lives-cats are scared of him, whistling for us-luckly we live on the top floor of apartment building.

  Hi Peachtree
I am a Male Congo African Grey and it sounds like your old owners got rid of you while you started on the hormonal or Grey adolescent stage. I know I am going through that myself. Mom has to be careful if I am in a mood to ask and wait for me to decide if she can get close to my cage or remove me from my playstand!
In a few years I will mellow out. I think you got loving new parronts. Lucky you. Have a greyt New Year! Here is a vote for you!

  Hello, Peachtree!
Welcome to BC. Sound like you finally found the right parronts! I just hate it when people think it is more important to make babies than to care for their feathered or fur companions - they could have at least worked on rehoming you guys in a more civilized way than that!
Anyway that Aunt M's bread sounds really great - mom has decided she's finally going to buy some for us. You're welcome to fly by & visit us anytime, and here's a vote 4u!

Come visit me, Monique, Treasure, Lily : Thanking all of voting me BOTW!, Eloise, Simon, Mojo, Quentin & Bungee.
