 It all started when Zipp, (RIP little green guy) flew behind the fridge...he must have been exploring. Well, i didn't get to him in time and he had a horrible last few days. I took him to the emergency vet and we thought he would be alright, but I lost my baby on opening night of Company! by Stephen Sondheim at the Harbor Playhouse. I had to do the whole first show feeling awful, and like I lost my baby. That weekend, I went to the pet store because I had another bird to think about, Charlie, who was missing her birdy boyfriend. I saw a little teal blue 'keet and said he was the one! Named him after the musical I was in at the time and now we are always having fun!. |

Millet!!!!!! And peas.
 On my glasses, next to any mirror, the top of the cage, my shoulder, on the curtain rods.
 He's a bit nervous around things that move, make sound, basically anything. But he is also very loving. He likes to sleep in my room at night.
 I love my owner because she understands that I don't like to be touched all the time. She only pets me in the front and not in the back..I don't like that very much. I love love love when she makes me peas for dinner!!!
 He tries to fly, and his wings are not grown back in yet! Also, he likes to stand on my glasses...while they are on my face! Silly bird..
 Twos impossible, two is gloomy, give another number to me, side by side!.

What a beautiful budgie!!!!
That is the most beautiful shade of green I have ever seen on a budgie :D. Anyways thanks for the training tips, what kinds of things have you trained your budgies to do? Also how long after buying your first budgie did you get it a play mate? When should I get Larry a friend? Thanks I hope we can be budgie raising partners. :DCome visit me, Cocky, Smokey & Charlie.
