 I was interested in getting an african grey and found a rescue, she was raised by a man, he then got a girlfriend and didn't give Macie time to adjust to the change.....she got nippy with the woman, so the guy surrendered her to the rescue, she is really a very sweet bird and she and I get along pretty good, as time goes by she gets used to having a woman love and care for her. I have had her since 02/09 and she hasnt really spoken, but does make some crazy noises. |

Your picture is great. There is another (same?) picture near yours that is named Gracie. Neat flock. do you get along? My 'tiel also enjoys nutriberries, but is given the budgie ones (as a treat) because she tends to gain too much weight if not closely watched. Just how dusty are you? I have wanted a grey, but understand you are at least as dusty as the'tiel, and we have allergies. Just wanted to see that pic of you again. Too cute.
You have siblings? Millie & Marvin? Do you get along? I have a sister, Poppet. She interrupts me a lot when I am whistling one of my favorite songs. I have to stop in the middle of my song and say, "Stop it, Poppet!". Our mom just got 2 new kittens, too. I'm not sure what to make of them. They will eventually be outdoor cats once they are old enough to not run off.

What a pretty name for a pretty bird. With patience by your mom you will be talking up a storm. I am a Hahns Macaw and I dance, talk like crazy and sing all kinds of songs. Pretty talented I'd say for a mini bird. We pack a lot of punch in our little package. Anyhow enough about me. Want to welcome you to the BC. Hope your stay here is enjoyable.
