 I found him at a pet store in 1991. It was instant love at first sight. He is a wild caught Goffin that per getting information off his band, came into the US in 1990.
It's taken alot of time, love, and patience (on both our parts!) But it's translated into a bird that LOVES scritches and hugs. He's come along way from the trauma of his capture and importation.
Due to this trauma he does pluck in times of stress. But he's come along way and is a very happy and loved, and spoiled, cockatoo.. |

Charlie here. I am also a Goffin's, but Mom got me from someone who didn't want me. I can't remember how many homes I've had, but this is the last one. I am still shy. I love the scritches and being petted, but I won't step up. Mom is patient, so I know one of these days, I'll just hop up and like it. I just have to learn to trust that she's going to keep me. I don't want my heart broken again. I gave you a vote, us Goffin's have to stick together...Come visit me, Jewely, Snowball, Pepper, Gable, PC, Kaylib & Charlie.
