Well, after I got my first parakeets in, Pete and Tily, My aunt's freind at her work told her that she was giving away young parakeets (not hatchlings). We went there, and she had 10 young parakeets. I picked out the 3 most beutiful, and unique-colored parakeets she had, and I fell in love with the 3 parakeets that stood out to me. That's where I met Sunshine a beutiful, older parakeet, Kiwi, a green older parakeet, that seemed to be fond of sunshine. And then, It sruck me- The most beutiful parakeet I had ever seen (and I have seen ALOT of parakeets)! She was blue, with black and white stripes on the back of her neck, and a cloudy chest. And she was certainly the most unique of my 5 parakeets! She would like to be with me, and she shows her personality alot! Sometimes, she'll sleep upsidedown on her favorite perch.. Awards

Hi! My name is Sky

I am a Budgerigar from Hartford, KY.

~Mommy's baby
~My personal peice of the sky

7 years old   F

I haven't had sky that long, but so far, her favorite 'treat' is fruit (usually artificially flavored seed).

Me and my dad built a small walk-in bird aviary. Sky's favorite places to sit and sleep is on top of the small tree part me and my dad bolted onto the aviary (which is where the nesting box is).

Sky HATES it when the other birds peck at her. That might be why she pecks at the other birds when the sit beside her on the perch.

My bird's probably like me because I never make fast movements to scare them

She has a habit of pecking at any bird that sits near her on the perch. She only pecks once though..

Be kind to ALL animals!.
