 It's kinda long, but here it goes. My mom had to get some stuff at a fish store for her fish, and while we were all waiting, I heard bird chirping in the second part of the store where the fish were. There was a cage full of lovebirds for sale, and I instantly fell in love with the little grey-colored baby lovebird that was flapping her wings. One of the workers saw me admiring her, and asked if I wanted to watch the bird get handfed. At this point, I was determined to take her home. After much begging to my parents, they said if the store was still open after we went to another one first, then I could have her for my birthday present. I agreed, and God let me get her, because the store was still open when we got back. She's the best b-day present I ever had (and my horse is, too).
In Toose's point of view:
I was held in a cage with beautiful adult Fischer lovebirds at a fish store. Being that I was only grey as a baby, I was considered the 'ugly duckling' to anyone who passed by compared to the other lovies. One day, a little girl came in, so I flapped my wings to get her attention, well, to get fed, hehe, but I got her attention too, and liked how she was paying attention to me and not the others. She didn't care that I wasn't colorful, and I knew I wanted to go home with her. When one of the employees came and said she could show the little girl how I get fed, I was real happy. The little girl was smiling the whole time, and then her parents came. The little girl begged to take me home, and I tried to look my cutest to persuade them. The employee helped by letting them know they could borrow a cage until they got one. Then they all left, and I was sad because I thought I was rejected. But then an hour or so later, they came back, and the little girl was real excited, because the rest of her family helped convince her dad too, to take me home. I'm so glad I ended up with a family like this, and with the little girl, my mom, the rest of my life.

I am a Peach-Faced Lovebird from Calistoga, CA.

Millet spray and pretty much anything that my mom is eating- but I hate fruits (and that worries my mom)
 On my mom's shoulder or in her sweater or shirt
 Metranomes for music instruments (don't think I spelled that right, though)
 My mom rubs my head and takes me out for hours daily.
And she bakes me a cake on my birthdays (even though I only take a bite.)
 Chewing on paper and then putting it in my rump feathers..
 Toose, how'd you ever get so cute?...My parronts...And before that...their parronts. ..etc...(it's a joke that my mom has between her brothers about me)
THOUGHT I SHOULD LET YOU ALL KNOW:(
The rest of Toose's life has been reached. On Saturday, July 31, Toose was found on the bottom of her cage dead, (at 9 years old) while I was away on vacation, (one day before we came home). Despite the good care she received with my grandparents, she didn't live through the week. There was no sign of this suddenness, except for her gestures toward my grandparents of wanting to be petted by them (which she normally didn't do with strangers). With great dread, I fear she was so lonely without me, that she couldn't make it. All that matters to me as of now, is that Toose, my beloved bird, my sunshine everyday, is gone. I miss her so much, it hurts.
I love you Toose, always will; and I'm sorry I wasn't there for you when you breathed your last...Goodbye my Toose....

Dear Angel Toose and Flockily
My mom and I did not know you birdsonally,but we understand the sense of loss when a birdy flys tothe Rainbow Bridge. Don't be too sad, my fister Bertie is there and will help her find her way around. Even better, the Lord Himself will love her with a profound love that never ends!
Your flockily will be in our prayers!
By the way, I'm getting another tiel frother in a couple of weeks! We have too much love to avoid giving another bird a good home, and I bet you do too! It might be to soon right now, but pray about it.

If I do have to move, I'll move into my mother's house that she is not living in. I'll just have to take over the payments and everything else that you have to have. The way I figure, it will take about half of my retirement check. I've looked into some companys like PODS. They won't come out here, but they told me about another one that will. They will bring a 28ft trailer and then I'll load it and they will take to PA. The company is part of a major trucking company. Then I'll drive the car with the tiels. But, I'm still trying to find a job here. I hope I do, because I just don't want move out of my home. But if I have to, I will. It will be interesting to see were your mother is from back there.
