 My aunt who lives in Indiana has a friend who is a breeder. The other birds in the flock turned against her and was rough on her so the breeder asked my aunt if she knew of someone who would want her. I agreed to try and take her on. She is very mellow and quiet so far. I think she will turn out fine. We have had her almost a week and she doesn't show hardly any aggression. She is a little rough around the edges but as soon as she gets new feathers she will look a lot better.She isn't real active yet. She stays pretty much in the same spot most of the time.I think she is going to end up being a very good bird.. |

Kiwi here. How's it going? You been having real hot weather too? We've been in the 100s for way to long. this week we're only to get in the 80s which is wonderful! a great cool spell. What would be even better is if we could get some moisture! Not much of that here. Las Vegas has more than we do.

You are a pretty bird. I do not know much of what our quaker's previous life was like. We have had him for at least 6 years now and he still is neurotic, but has adjusted to us. He came to us talking and still adds to his vocabulary, but will always destroy his own feathers. I trust that since you have alone space, you will learn you are not going to be always picked on.
