Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Wow I hope that I can live as long as you have, imagine all of the things I could see and do in that time. I bet that you have had alot of experiences in your life, I hope that you will share them with me, as I only turn 1 in May. I live in a similar cage to you, they are great because they have a fun place to play on top and lots of room to move around. My mum makes sure we have lots to play with, how about you? ABOUT BIRD VOTING
When you visit any bird, on the page on top of the "MY BIRD PROFILE" Click on that hat looking thing. The site has some quirks, once you vote that vote tag will disappear which means your vote counted. It can be real slow sometimes too. You can vote only once per bird per day. But can vote on as many birds per day as you want. And to vote for the poem contest birds, click on home page, then click to right where it says poem contest to win a cage, then click entries, or view entries and click through the arrows of pages and click on bird you like and click on that vote tag. It is easy once you get the hang of it. Some of the problems you will have is glitches , not you. I think it is when it is busy or something. Hope that helped. Hi Zigi, what a pretty bird you are. Love your motto. My mom has had parrots all her life, and she still buys books and read more and more. I am kind of a rescue....still trying to learn step up.... so far only stick is fine. But anyway....I am very happy you have a great home.And how is Buddy? Are you guys getting along great? What a wonderful story. I am glade your mom is like mine she loves penny and I sooo very much. She and daddy just brought her back from Florida last week. They were about 50 mikes from that big tornato at lady lake. I feel sorry for any bird ,dogs ,cats & of corse people that were in it.My mom and dad are real animal lovers. And visiting us too :) We love ALL birds but of course LOVE amazons. :) I am an only bird. My Mommy is thinking SOMEDAY of getting another amazon for company for me when she is at work . Cause she when she got me 9 years ago she was a stay at mom stepmom working only 2 days a week, now she feels bad cause things change. She works more and spends as much time with me as she can. We have a almost 13 year old Pomeranian "SparkY" on the dogchannel and a wild squirell we rescued during the hurricanes of 2004. We actually had 9 squirells and released all but one for a pet. But mommy insists we need another amazon maybe later on , But not knowing if because I have been an only bird for 9 years if it is a good idea.
Sounds like you DO need spring to come to get away from your amazon sibling heee hee . Yeah it is cool living down here, but every place has a down side. We worry about our pets during storms, hurricanes and tornados we had last week were scary. My mommy is more worried about us than herself. She would NEVER leave us for anything or anyone. :) I and the dog are the only thing kept from her previous marriage hee hee we outlast him hee hee. Thanks for visiting me.
