 I got Skittles from the same breeder that I bought my CAG from. He has really reasonable prices and very nice birds. I got him when he was 5 weeks old...now in this pic he is 13 weeks old...not plucking, that's still baby down. His feathers are still coming in. |

Sly here. I really like you in the box. Mom can't get me on my back easily, but then I wasn't a chick when she got me either.
You need to fly by and see the flock now. We have 3 tiels (who fly everywhere)only 3 orange weaver finches now, 2 budgies and still Kiwi and me. We've had several others who stayed for a while before rehoming.
It's been quite a while since we squawked too. You getting cold weather your way? Sounded like it when we watched the weather channel...aka Old folks MTV. hahaha We're to get snow almost all week and COLD temps!! Winds to blow too. I hate wind.
Not only that but a couple of weeks ago we had an earthquake...2.2...not a big one but sure upset us...it was only about 5 mi away. It didn't bother most of our friends, but for some reason it did us. Mom even woke up before we birds went ballistic. Every tiel..we had 3 extras then..bit mom pretty hard and I was so scared I even bit her and scratched her hand. Kiwi slept thru it.

Dad keeps telling mom no more birds too, but for some reason she can't help rescuing more. She has a woman who is begging for Scrappy and Nolly. She used to have a tiel that had a night fright one snowing night. Of course since she was not home she knew nothing of it and when she opened the door out Lady went. She was so heartbroken. Now she wants to try again. as much as mom loves us all she's about ready to cave in I think. Not sure yet.
How do you get along with Lincoln and Sonny?

HI you two, No...I'm not plucking, that is still my baby down showing in spots. I am only 13 weeks old. I know...I am big for my age, specially compared to you!! Mom has been looking me up more on the internet and it says when fully grown I will be between 34-36" tall/long. My feathers and colors are starting to come in rather nicely...don't you think? I don't have too much further to go before I am fully feathered. I just got into a cage a few weeks ago because I was climbing out of my tote. Oh, you should take a bath, besides being good for you, it is fun! maybe your mom can find a birdie bath that hooks on your door...usually they make them like that for you smaller birds.
"ok, ok Mom!" Gosh! I have to go, seems like I just got on here, now mom says I gotta get off. She still doesn't feel weel, so I better go before she gets the spray bottle out after me! well, y'all take care and reconsider that bath...you don't know what you're missing! Talk to you later. Thanks for the comment. Yeah, it is very comfortable being wrapped up like that. I now am 2 months old, and my nails have already been clipped for the first time, so I get to be on mommy and daddy's shoulder now. I'm getting pretty good at it too. After my mommy or daddy feeds me (they take turns), they hold me for a few minutes, but I like it best at night. After mommy is done feeding me before bed, she lays down on the couch and puts my baby blanket on her stomach/chest and then she puts me on the baby blanket. Then she gets my other baby blanket (that grandma got me last weekend) and puts that ontop of me and covers my head up completely and then I go to sleep. I guess I feel safer. Anyhow, I hope to hear from you soon.

You are so adorable. I too am less than a year old except I am a blue-crowned-conure. I bet you are spoiled rotten and it seems like you like having your picture taken. My mommy and daddy say the same thing about me, I look like I'm smiling, just like you. If you get a chance stop by and visit me and make sure to tell your mommy to post more pics of you as you get bigger.

Welcome to the BC. Hard to believe that a beautiful sweet baby like you is gonnna grow up to be a big macaw. I am a Hahn's Macaw and though not nearly as large as a giant macaw am dynamite in a medium package.
