I live in a small village in Mexico, very far from any large industrious town and close to the natural jungle. Two young boys were playing while their father worked in a coffee plantation when they found a small featherless bird on the ground. The boys knew I loved animals and would take care of local dogs and cats who had been injured and so brought the bird to my home. I believe the bird to have been only 4 weeks old at the time, but Harley is growing, getting his feathers slowly but surely, and developing into quite a character.|. Awards
