 I live in a small village in Mexico, very far from any large industrious town and close to the natural jungle. Two young boys were playing while their father worked in a coffee plantation when they found a small featherless bird on the ground. The boys knew I loved animals and would take care of local dogs and cats who had been injured and so brought the bird to my home. I believe the bird to have been only 4 weeks old at the time, but Harley is growing, getting his feathers slowly but surely, and developing into quite a character.|. |

Sly here. Welcome to BC and here's another vote to make you feel at home here. Wow you were lucky to be brought to such a loving mom. My mom is that way too. Everyone brings mom things, it used to be cats and puppies, then chickens and lambs. After that came iguanas and now it's birds. Of course she's moved around and so the many animals.
