Valla here. I am soooooo sorry it's taken me so long to get back to you. I was so proud of you learning new words too. Sometimes I wish I were male so I could learn to talk. I do try to say valla, but doesn't quite come out.
Mom's thinking of trimming MY wings too. I sure don't like the sound of that at all!! Kiwi says it isn't all that bad, but you can't fool me. Ah well, she hasn't caught me yet. hehehe

Hiya Citrus. What a pretty name for a pretty bird! Just flyin' by to say hello. Hope you have a chance to visit the rest of our family soon.
By the way, a friend of mine has a cage full of budgies and couldn't deal with the grate at the bottom of the cage, so he removed the grate and put duct tape around the gap in the bottom so the budgies couldn't get out. Then his budgies weren't getting stuck at the bottom of the cage. He taped the cage in such a way that he could still slide out the bottom pan to clean the cage.
