Cheeky came from a pet store but PeeWee was adopted from M.A.R.S (Melbourne Avian Rescue Sanctuary). If you are not familiar with them, try to visit sometime. They are usually open on Saturday as well as a couple of days a week. Check their facebook page for opening information:

They do wing & beak clipping, boarding, birdie boot camp & more plus the owner is always happy to answer questions and give advice to fellow bird owners.

Scrappy here. Yeah, Dandy too. Mom told Dandy he couldn't hog you. Boy I know exactly how you feel. Only Nolly and my dad never came home. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. We did. Mom and dad were home and we came down and flew all over. Mom even put up a couple of new places for us to be on. We don't like the new thingy mom put in the kitchen window. Mom says we haven't even tried it yet. We still have to think about that for a while.
Nolly sure is trying to make dad pay attention to her. She climbs up his leg and will sit on him...well until Kiwi says enough. Then she flies onto mom. Of course I'm already there. I don't have to have Kiwi chase ME.

Hi Dandy here. Boy I didn't know Scraps was going to be such a brat! Kept crying to mom how I never let him talk. HA! He's twice as loud as I am! I'm pretty quiet for a tiel. Boy it's been getting cold here! only in the 50s today and windy to boot. But by mid week we should be up in the 70s again. Mom says it's going to be bad for the body. But we can stay nice and toasty in here. hehe

Dandy here. Sorry for not flying by for so long. Seems like ages. Well, a couple of weeks ago mom helped out at the bird expo and brought home toys enough for ALL us birds. And food too. Then there was the balloon races and camel races the same time. We could see those big balloons flying around our house. In fact, the energizer bunny nearly landed ON our house. hehehe Mom got a pic of it after it got past. Wonder if they have to pay for the repair of a roof? Oh well, didn't happen and we're all glad. Then there was the PBR bull riding too. Dad took mom to that. And last weekend was the air races and we're so glad we don't live out that way. We heard enough here! and this week is Streets of Thunder which is all motorcycles!!! All week! WHEW! But we live off the main roads so won't have many bikes our way. It has been a busy month! And what's worse is we're still HOT here. into the 90s. Oh well, soon we'll be complaining about the cold eh.
