Well, our first game's tomorrow and I can hardly wait to play ball alongside you. Actually I'll be in front of you since I'm on 2nd and you're in center field. You and me, we'll be working together to stop the runners from making any further than first base even if they do hit one way out into the outfield, right?

Hello My Dearest~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!
Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!
I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!
I hope you all enjoy your weekend! I hpoe you get lots of time with mom and that she gets some much needed rest! Memorial day is next Monday so it will be wonderful for her to have 3 days off! Mom talked her boss into letting her work because she wants the overtime! He was really nice about it and told her to go ahead!

Hello Sweetie~
What was your mom doing up so late???hehehehehe I noticed the time and was thinking she was already sleeping.
She sure has a lot of stuff to do lately!! We hope she is enjoying the new job even if it is keeping her busy. I can imagine there isn't a lot of time left after taking care of you guys, the yard and working!! Mom and I hope she is remembering to take some time for herself!
Nothing exciting going on around here. Mom took last night off to get some stuff done but she didn't get nearly as much done as she wanted too. It usually goes that way!!
We had two weeks of really nice weather and then the clouds came back on Mother's day. It's been raining a bit but yesterday we had a really big thunderstorm with lots of wind. It didn't last very long but it brought down tree limbs and knocked the power out down in town. We didn't lose our power thankfully!!!
I hope you and the flock are all getting use to mom being gone during the day! I'm glad you all have each other to keep you company!!

to feel normal again very soon! We sure hope mom is enjoying her job! We hope everyone she works with are really nice people!
Puffin did a really bad thing!! I know she thought she was helping the cats out but it's a bad thing to let them out! Is she going to get locked up??? I know she hates it but it might be safer for her and the cats!!!
We tied with Phoenix as the hottest city in the US yesterday!hahahahahaha That will never happen again! It was the first time and the last time too!! Today we are back to clouds and wind which is more normal for us! I really did enjoy the sunshine!

Nothing exciting to report from here. We have had beautiful weather and I have been enjoying the sunshine.

How are you my dearest? I know it must be very strange not to have mom around. How is Puffin doing with it? I know she must miss mom so very much!
We sure hope your mom is enjoying her new job! We are thinking about her everyday and hoping that she is very happy.
I'm in the living room today because they are going to spray for the ants outside. The lady who lives downstairs from us is having a horrible time. She has hundreds of them all over her apartment. We only have few here or there in the bathroom and the kitchen. I'm glad they are going to spray outside and take care of the problem!
Not much else going on around here. I hope you remember that I think about you all the time and I hope you are all healthy and happy!

Alfie, Sugar, and I are calling a Raider's light work out and practice at theBB field, for Thursday and Friday, between 11:00 AM and 6:00 PM! We'll run some laps, do some jumping jacks, squats, and sit-ups, and other light stretching exercises and when you are warmed up, find somebody to play catch with! Although this is an informal practice session, I want you all to take it seriously, I want to be able to count on you during long grueling games! I bet you were all completely shocked when Cheeto laid that egg! What a huge surprise! I'm glad she is doing okay! Is she sitting on the egg?
Not much going on here today. Mom is cooking the second ham and trying to get some laundry done. Mandy sorta leaked on the rug in front of the door so that's in the washer right now. Mandy leaks a lot! I think we shold whack some diapers on her but mom says it's just a matter of taking her out regulary. It works for mom but no one else who lives here know what regular is!

I hope your day is going great! It's pretty quiet around here. Mom and I are watching the last Harry Potter movie! It's very exciting but very sad too!
It's still cool and rainy here. It got warm for a few days and then went back to being cold again. That is why we had the avalanches up in the mountains. They do avalanche control all the time up there but they had no warning for these avalanches. At least it's closed down now so everyone will be safe.
Mom cleaned my cage out before I even got up this morning! I think that was pretty sneaky of her!! It does look very nice and I have a new toy so I guess it's time to mess it up again! You know we like our cages just so!!

How is everything going out there? Did it warm up at all? It got cool and wet here again. Mom put the fireplace on for me to warm my tail feathers up!
Did you mom hear about when she has to do go DC yet? Is Oppie's dad going to check up onyou guys while mom is gone??
It's been quiet around here today. Mom has laundry and vaccuming to get done. It always seems like there are chores to be done around here!
I've been buys pulling toys from the top of the cage into my cage. It's been lots of fun but I guess the carge needs to be cleaned out now so that's a bumme!
I love your baseball picture! I had mine up yesterday and I'll put it back up when my tribute to Mo is done. I sure am going to miss seeing him in the dugout this season.

I hope everything is going great out there. Is mom getting some time outside? Did she hear anything back from the interview? We've been praying like crazy for her!
Mom went over to the farmers market today and got a whole bunch of apples! I know she is going to make more apple crisp so I can't wait!! She got some carrots too so maybe I'll get some of those too.
Merlin was going nuts last night! I think maybe he was happy because mom was here so he started whacking her on the head and chewing on her hair. She moved him over but then he kept jumping up to the window and then down again. I woke up and started squawking so mom had to calm me down and then convince Merlin it was bedtime! Not much sleep around here last night!!

Happy Easter! I hope you, mom and the flock are having a wonderful day! You would not believe how spring-like it is here! We may even break a heat record for today! We are suppose to hit 72 today! Mom is going to have to open some windows or it's going to get too warm in here.
The ham is in the oven and the lemon sauce for the fruit salad is cooling. All that is left is to cut up the fruit for the salad and everything will be done. Mom told everyone they were going to eat early since she has to work tonight!
Last night was crazy for mom. There was so much work! The labor report said that the ad would take 223 hours! Aren't there only 24 hours in a day? hehehehehehe She is really tired and will be happy when she can get some sleep!
I am happy that spring is finally showing up for most everybird. It seems like it was a very long winter.

Mom's store sold tons of candy yesterday. They still have tons more and you know people will be buying more. Easter is one of those holidays where people wait until it's nearly here to buy things! Mom understands completely! She bought some jelly beans and the bag is half gone now! It's okay since no one but mom likes jelly beans! They put the candy out early every year cause they know people like mom are going to eat the jelly beans and have to buy more!

I hope all is well with you, mom and the flock!!
We had lots of things planned for today but we really didn't get much done. When mom took Jennifer to work, the car starting acting up! You know how stressed mom gets when the car gets broken!
Dad took it down to the mechanic and he said it needed a tune up! Mom didn't even know that they still did tune up's! It is suppose to be finished by the time mom goes to work tomorrow and we hope it isn't too expensive! At least mom has some money saved up so we can get it fixed!
It's still cool here but it was sunny today. I still have to have the fireplace on in the mornings when I come out to the living room. At least I had the sun!!

Yes, we know that St Patty's day has passed, but it is still March and we're still celebrating!
Date: Saturday, March 23rd
Time: 8PM EDT; 7 CDT; 6 MDT; 5PDT; 2 HI
Place: Milonga Page #165848
The Milonga Ball Room has been turned into a real Irish Pub with everything from shamrocks to green beer. There will be corned beef and cabbage with Irish soda bread to whet your appetite as well, plus you know Lizzie will not be able to keep the feast to such simple fare. All sorts of green treats and such will be served.
Sam and the Scruffy Birds band will play at least one or two Irish tunes for us to jig to, and plenty of good old favorites to dance the night away. Chyna and Sam will sing and dance for your audio and visual entertainment, and you know that is always a treat.
TPB&G will have the bar set up with Guiness and Stout and every kind of Irish whiskey you can think of. From Bailey's to Irish Coffee there is no Irish drink that they won't fix. And for the younger crowd the green limeade and kool aid will go down smooth and gentle.
And of course the awards for the Milonga Irish Profile Pic contest will be given out. This time it has been a "Blind Contest" with everybirdy just voting for the best pics rather than their best friends. We shall see how that turns out. I know one little birdie is definitely going to win favorite pic. She is blowing out the competition. And I know everybirdy will be pleased to see her win. There will be other awards to be won as well though.
So one and all get your green back out (although some of us wear it all year round) and deck out for the best Irish party you ever saw. It is gonna be a toot!

I looked up your weather to see if that freezing rain was down to you house and I'm very happy to see that it's north of you! It's almost spring and I can't believe there is still snow storms out there! It has gotten do freezing here all the way to April so I guess it's not all that strange. I am just happy that we have a bit of sunshine and the daffodils are all blooming!
Mom and I have been doing some cleaning this morning and it all seems to be going well. We are finding all kinds of interesting stuff in the drawers around here.

It sounds like mom is having a rough week! You guys need to behave better I think! I know that remotes are very tempting but we are not suppose to touch those! We can't chew off key on the keyboard either. I have a whole list of no-no's around her somewhere so I'll have to send it to you, Shadow and Puffin!
I really need to have a serious talk with Shadow! He seems to thing he can stand on anyone's cage! He should know that is not going to work out for him! I do feel bad for him tho.
We are sorry to here mom didn't enjoy Oz. Mom heard that it is a prequil and that Disney is going to the the Wizard of Oz next year. Mom is not a huge Oz fan but she may watch it if Jennifer gets it from Netflix. The best Oz movie was called Tin Man. It was very inventive and a really entertaining! Has mom seen that one? It's out on DVD.
Please give mom our love and you guys take really good care of her. Tell her not to feel bad about locking the keys in the car! A friend of mom's at work locked the car door while the car was still running!!

I hope everything is okay at your house. I see that they are warning about coastal flooding. I have no idea how close you are to the water but I hope it is far enough away that you don't have to worry about flooding. It says you are going to get snow tomorrow also! Will this Winter never end!!!!!!
We are keeping all of you in our prayers and we hope there is no damage. I know the weather guys were saying they were worried about the winds and there might be some really strong ones! Hang in there sweetie and remember that Spring is closer today than it was yesterday!
I think everyone is having a hard remembering that it is almost spring. With the time change this weekend and Easter early this year it just doesn't seem like it's time for it yet! I certainly will be happy to see some flowers in the planters and on the trees!

Hello My Dearest~
I hope you are all staying warm and cozy! Did the snow hit you yet? That groundhog guy was really wrong! At least spring is closer today than it was yesterday!!
We had a cold day yesterday but the clouds have moved back in so it's up in the 40's today. More normal!
I am being hormonal now too! I was really nippy this morning and I tried to shove food into mom's ear. She thanked me but said she wasn't hungry.
Mom is heading off to take Jen to work so I have to say goodbye!

Happy Hatchday Ceasaur
V4U today. Hope you had a super fun hatchday. :) Nothing new here. It's just been cold and snowy, roads are icy. Ready and waiting for spring. Mom planted some Bowl of Beauty peony bulbs and she bought some more flower seeds, too. Of course, some of the flower seeds are marigolds. Can't plant the flower seeds until June though.
