So happy to hear from you again wow!!!!!!!! :) Sorry to hear your mommy had a bad sinus infection. She use to get those alot when she lived up north and does not get them anymore since she have not taken anti-biotics for 5 years. I think that is part of the problem then they come back worse. Hope she is alright. thanks for the compliments. I know we all get busy, I was by a few times then just had to ask, was a bit worried. My mommy too gets busy we know the feeling. She painted the kitchen . living room and redid the kitchen chairs, staining and all that. And has trouble keeping up with the blogs hahaha . Thanks for the compliments on our pics and the votes. Being an Amazon, I can't imagine life without showers, just take it slow, maybe a real fine mister to start with and work your way up to a full blown shower with Mommy.

Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate. I wanted to get her a big cage to move (fly around) in and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could not afford to buy her the cage of her dreams. Shower Tips:
To: Maizie Mom - I haven't found out the "best" solution to the showers yet. I'm still slowly trying out different ways. I've been told try warm water - Others only like cold water. Some like to bathe in wet leaves - Some just give them a bowl. Some an actual shower - Others running sink water. There's a forum you can log into under the "community" section that has a lot of great advice about differet stuff. I know they have the shower topic there, including step by slow step how to get 'em to actually shower in the shower. Keep trying, I'll keep you updated on if I find anything Kiera seems to like best.Come visit me, Kiera.

I love birds, I love them so,

Each day starts with a meeting,

Hi there Maizie. My name's Kiera; I'm a Harlequin Macaw. My mom wonders how a big bird like me can be scared of anything but... I'm not so sure about this "shower time" thing either. Why spend so much time getting wet when you're gonna dry off again anyway? Hum... Chicken Bones? Mom's never let me try those yet; I wonder if I can convince her. Hi Maizie, I am a B&G macaw just like you. My name is Baby. I don't like to take a shower, yuck hate it. My Mom makes me breakfast and dinner everyday, isn't it nice to know our Mom's love us so much they cook for us! Mom makes me noddles and peas and I love that.
