I'd been searching for a breeding pair of sun conures for a while. I'd found a pair, but they were aviary bred, unhandled and we didn't have a place to put them. So they were sold to someone else and I started to give up hope of ever finding my perfect pair of sunnies. Then, cruising through PetLink one night, I happened across an ad for a handraised, bonded pair of three year old sun conures. I immediately rang the number and just over a week later I brought home Taco and Tequila.. Awards

Hi! My name is Tequila

I am a Sun Conure from Brisbane, Intl.

8 years old   F

Sun Conure

Peanuts, sunflower seeds and apple. Loads of apple :)

I love my new aviary! So much to do and all the different sounds and sights keep me entertained all day long.

Taco being bossy; mum's dog getting too close to my cage

She brings fresh food every day, comes and sits in the aviary and talks to us, and she sticks up for me if Taco puts his "bully hat" on.

  Hello Tequila!
Your King flying by today to see that all is well with you and your family. I want to know that those in my Kingdom can truly say, Life is Good.

If I might, I'd like to remind my fellow feathered friends of the potential joy that lies in visiting both Dewey-BOTM hopeful (110401) and Peanut (25589) our current Princess of the BC. Wouldn't want you to miss out on such a wonderful opportunity!

May all that brings you happiness be yours this coming weekend. T '> BOTW for a few more glorious days.

Come visit me, Turk ~ RIP & BENTLEY of the McFlock.

"Hi" back to you! So glad you fly by. Thanks for the generous compliments on my photo and my full name as well. Truth be told, I got my name from a TV sitcom; SCRUBS! I have a flockmate name Rowdy is yellow, just like the dog on the show of the same name. The two keets that joined the family afterwards were named JD and Perry, all character names from the show. Silly mom, huh.
Enjoyed your "How We Met" story. That you and Taco got to stay together in your move to a new home is a nice ending (or start?) to your story. How awesome that you all live in an aviary! The sun, the rain, the breeze, all of those natural elements must make for some very happy, healthy birdies. Congrats on your wonderful home. I'd like to wing my way around to all your flockmates eventually. It looks like you have a beautiful 'family'. Thanks again for coming by. Your new friend, T '>
