We ran across a lady who had a male and female eclectus (Oscar's mom and dad) that had become unintentional breeders. She had never handled him and had only recently shooed him from his parents cage to his own. She was very afraid of him and we felt so bad that such a beautiful bird had such a deprived life (having never been touched by a human and no play time out of the cage). We couldn't help ourselves and before we knew it, Oscar was on his way home with us!.

Hi! My name is Oscar

I am an Eclectus from Cleveland, TN.

5 years old   M

Eclectus

Frosted Mini Wheats

He loves the back of the couch.

We aren't sure what Oscar doesn't like. He wasn't handled as a chick and we are working on training him and getting him used to people handling him.

They are working very hard to get me to trust them!

Anytime we are watching TV, he likes to talk louder than the TV..
