Tweety needs your votes for her poem. Her foot had to be amputated Feb. 26th due to the main blood supply being cut in her leg. We had to separate her from her cage mate, and after paying 258.00 for her leg to become amputated we could afford to buy her a big enough cage to get around in. You are adorable! My Mom says that she would fall in love with a bird who had a bad foot too! I chose her, but I bet the next one we get will be a special little bird like you - she has such a soft spot for animals who need extra help. I'm so glad your Mom found you! Here’s a vote for you and a birdie poem:
I love birds, I love them so,
Life without them I’ll never know.
Each day starts with a meeting,
Chirps and whistles it’s their own special greeting.
Fresh fruits and veggies to wash and chop,
Served with warm birdie bread to fill each crop.
Toys of wood, leather and bells,
Makes for fun with loud squawking yells.
Feathers and pellets all over my floor,
Does not deter me from loving them more.
As the sun fades we share kisses and scritches,
Then it’s off to each cage with sweet dream wishes.
