How is everything going?? I hope you are enjoying the day and having lots of fun!!
I am trying to grab the remote, the mouse, mom's cord for her mp3 player and anything else I can get my beak on!! Yep! It's a great day!hehehehehe
It's making it hard on mom to blog for me but I know she can rise to the challenge! She keeps putting me back on her knee and I say "hello Sugar!"
Not much else going on today. It's just fine with me since I'm having a really fun time climbing all over the puter and all over mom!
Is your weather okay down there?? The news is not very clear on how many states might be looking at tornados. I sure hope you are all safe!!!

Hi ya Roscoe~
I hope you are having a wonderful day. I've got the gardeners here to watch. They are outside my window mowing the lawns! Pretty soon Mandy will be woofing to go out just because she likes to smell the fresh cut grass! Mom takes her for a walk everyday and Mandy has decided she likes to walk down to the Starbucks. Do you suppose it's the scones they sell? I always share my scones with her so maybe she figured she just go down there and get us some! I like the way she thinks!!
Mom already went to the market before I even got up! The store is open 24 hours a day. It's less crowded early in the mornings but mom has to put up with freight on the floor and the floor scrubber being used. Since she works nights at a store, she is use to that stuff.
She got me some pecans so I'm looking forward to my snack! I'll be having apples and pecans today! Yum!
I'll be supervising the chores later on and letting mom know how she should do stuff! We all know our parronts would be lost without us!!

Thanks for the update. We're sorry about Grandpa, but you're right, he wouldn't have wanted to live that way. Mom's aunt had that, and in her lucid moments, just hated that she slipped away like that. Hope it all works out with dad's new girl. Wow, starting a club is a great idea, we wish there were one here.
I forgot to mention a big thanks to Taz for doing the awards for the milonga Saturday night, sorry. So here's our thanks for a job well done!
Mom cleaned for the wild red tailed hawk this morning, then finished the morning with the RVS animals. RVS means rabies vector species, so she cleaned and fed mostly raccoons (about 2 dozen!), ground hogs and foxes today. She enjoys the babies, but they're funny too. As she finished the room, she turned back to check the cages one last time, and some of the cages looked as though they had never been done, because the babies painted the fresh food all over themselves and the cage.

guarantee it will be the only time that happens! Usually our weather records tend to be for the wetest place in the US! Today it is back to what May usually looks like up here! We are back to flannel shirt weather!

I hope you stopped in at the castle yesterday when I got botd and enjoyed some cake and ice cream with me. If you didn’t get any there is plenty left so just help your self. Mom had made me a new happy hut but didn’t give it to me but when I won botd yesterday she gave it me and its so soft and cuddly and I slept like a baby in it last night! Hi ya Roscoe~
I hope your day is going great! I have to apologize for not getting around as much as I should. Things got a bit busy and unfortunately, my social time is suffering!
Who knew humans could have so much stuff that needs going thru!!!
Dad took over the storage room so now there is lots of stuff that needs to be put somewhere else or tossed. The whole process is taking much longer than we thought it would. I have suggested that we only keep my toys and anything we need to use for food and toss everything else! Nope! None of that stuff was in the storage room but I think it would be a good thing for all of us to downsize! Toys and food are the most important things so we definately need to keep that stuff! I suppose the dog, the cat and the turtles can stay too!
I'm enjoying my apple right now and enjoying the view from the window. Yes! I have sunshine! It is going to be lovely for the next few days. The way it works up here is that the weekdays are lovely and when the weekend gets here the rain will come back! It's sorta like mother nature likes to tease us!

I do hope you are having a wonderful day! I'm doing just fine. Not much going on around here today. Dad has been cleaning out the storage room to make it into a workshop so mom and I have lots of stuff to find a place for. Mom says some of it can just be sent off to goodwill but it will be interesting to see where she is going to put the rest of it! Mom says that if we haven't used it for a while, it is really time to get rid of it. You can tell that mom doesn't like clutter!
I'm going to hang out in the play cage and supervise the job! I'm very good at supervising and I like to shout out lots of suggestions too!!

I hope your day is going great! It's pretty quiet around here. Mom and I are watching the last Harry Potter movie! It's very exciting but very sad too!
It's still cool and rainy here. It got warm for a few days and then went back to being cold again. That is why we had the avalanches up in the mountains. They do avalanche control all the time up there but they had no warning for these avalanches. At least it's closed down now so everyone will be safe.
Mom cleaned my cage out before I even got up this morning! I think that was pretty sneaky of her!! It does look very nice and I have a new toy so I guess it's time to mess it up again! You know we like our cages just so!!
Do you have a Petco near you? That is where Jenny's dads parrot club meets. I don't know if Petsmart have backrooms too but I guess Petco do. Maybe there is a church around that has a meeting room. They are usually pretty cool about renting them out!

I hope you are having a wonderful day. Kinda slow news day around here. Mom is doing laundry and I am eating apples! I don't mind it being quiet as long as I get to hang out with mom.
Mom got me a bunch of new books from the library so I have been enjoying them. Mom didn't find anything to read but she didn't have a lot of time to hang out there. She'd spend hours there if she could! It's always such a peaceful place.
Mom figured out how to capture pictures from video and other pages where you don't have the save option. She was able to save my avatar in my picture file! Now she is going nuts looking for videos. I'm sure most of the world already knows how to do this but it's a big thing for mom!

Hi ya Roscoe!
How is everything going? I'm doing just fine. I've got blue skies and white puffy clouds so it good with me! Mom is making corn bread and it smells so good! It's going to be made into stuffing except for the stash for me to munch on!
Mom has to work the whole weekend so we are making stuff early so that it will be easy to get Easter dinner on the table. It will be nice and mom is use to working holidays.
Are you guys going to stay home? It's the best as far as I'm concerned but I think mom would love to have one holiday where she could go across the water and visit her aunt and uncle.

I hope all is well in your neck of the woods! Happy Srping! Not real warm up here yet but the daffodils are blooming and the cottonwood trees are starting to fill out. I have a touch of blue sky so all and all it's a good start to spring!
It is so great to hear from you. I know you guys have been buys around your house and I hope it is all going great!
Mom has had the last 3 days off and we have been doing our spring cleaning. It's been pretty fun since we have found some interesting stuff in drawers and closets. We are up to 6 extra computer mice at this time! Mom thinks dad kept upgrading them and not getting rid of the older ones. Dad has an entire box full of electrical cords for stuff we don't even have anymore. I can't really figure out why he keeps them all but that's just dad!
Mom has to work tonigth and then it will be our weekend again. We are just going to continue with cleaning mostly.
I hope you are all well and happy!! Please give Pretty Girl and Salty my love and a big zon hug for you dad too!

I hope your day is going great! Sorry for a c/p today but it's the only way I'm going to get around to all my friends today!
Dad is doing a back-up on the computer right now so it's running very slowly! He really should not have done this when it's my turn to use the puter!
We heard a cool story on the news today about our county library. They wanted to do a food drive for the county food banks. Even tho they say the economy is doing better the amount of people who are using the food banks out here has gone up nearly 40%. Most of those are seniors.
The librarians wanted to do a food drive which is not unusual but to make it more interesting they are writing off fines for food! Every 3 items of food will give you
$10 fine credits! They have had lines down the street at some libraries! One guy had fines from 2006! Boy! That is a really long time!!
I guess books are not the only reason to love a library!

I wasn't sure I was going to get to anybirds page today! The BC is having issues! I feel awful for Elvis but his has happened before and I know it will all be fixed very soon. I was a little worried when all I got was the squawk-a-tiel page this morning!
Nothing exciting going on around here but I am having a nice day. I am helping with laundry this morning since mom has to work tonight. She was off last night, works tonigh and then gets Friday night off. The store she works at is having a big sale this weekend and next. I don't really notice much difference since mom works nights and I'm sleeping.
Sounds like you dad has been really busy! Is he having fun? Mom loves to watch HGTV but we live in an apartment so she doesn't get to do much fun stuff! We hope it's all going great!

Your Daddy has been busy, what with all the renovations and his love life, teehee..I'm happy he found someone that he thinks might be the one, but ya just never know..One important thing in any relationship, be yourself, don't' try to make them like you, God sends people into our lives to teach us more about ourselves, then if it's right it's a beautiful thing. Also they have to have a love for birds, since that's an important part of your Daddy's life, they can't be jealous or standoffish. They should jump right in a try to become friends with you, Salty and Pretty Girl, that's very important..Listen to me, a bird giving your Daddy advice on relationships, lol..
Our weather has been really weird, very warm for January but it has allowed the boys to be outside more.
I hope this new relationship works out for your Daddy, if he loves birds, he's a very special man..I wish him luck in getting to know the young lady he's pursuing..Things always work out the way they should..

Nothing new here to report other that this dang weather has got us baffled, can you believe Romeo and Rusty were outside yesterday in the Aviary, and 71 today, geez, what's going on.I'm sure your experiencing much of the same since your so close, it's nice to have warm days but we also like the season changes too, not much has changed since summer, at least around here. I didn't even have to wear my long johns this year, giggle.. Hi ya Roscoe~
How are you? I hope you are enjoying your day! I'm doing just fine! I am a bit tired of this cold and dreary weather. I think everybird who is living outside of Florida feels the same way!!
I have created my own spring garden so when it gets too dreary around here I can sit and look at my flowers! I thought it was a good idea!! I know it's just pictures but they make me happy to look at! Mom said maybe we should just close the curtains and have a picnic with summer foods! Sounds like a great idea to me!
Today I'm helping mom clean up the kitchen. It's not really exciting but I don't care cause I get to spend time with mom.
You enjoy your day! I want you to know that visiting friends like you is a bit of sunshine in my day!!

Morning Roscoe, from coach Jenny Lynn
How have ya been old friend, I miss seeing ya on the BC, and Pretty Girl as well! For us, this Saturday marks the start pf another week of cold weather, that's okay, bring it! We are all fed, watered, new fruits and veggies, and our papers have been changed and cages cleaned! Dad will be prepping a couple of boxes full of toys for our BC buddies, but he will be with us all weekend, yippee! I hope you all have a fun day planned with your loving families, nothing else matters, it is what memories are made of, love to all in your home, see ya tomorrow...
