It was good to see you again I think of you often too miss the old days when there was more time for you to be on here but I know how things can get.THanks for liking my picture a friend made it for mom she is clueless when it comes to that sort of thing.Not much is new here after that extremely hot and humid summer we are finaly having a beautiful fall.I have got some stroller rides in and love it some people think mom has a baby in the stroller and are suprised when they peek in and see me.Mom thinks they are crazy because my stroller looks nothing like a baby stroller but guess its not everyday you see a lady pushing a bird in a stroller.

Good to see you as always!!!Im glad to hear you are doing well Im am too.MOms been on vacation from work since saturday and I am enjoying having her home so far we have done alot of nothing.She doesnt go back until the 22nd so I hope I at least can get one stroller ride in.
Sorry its so hot down there I feel for you we have had a very hot summer too luckily its finaly cooled down and hopefully it will stay this way from now on.Mom doesnt like the hot weather to much she would prefer the 70's for the whole summer.
Not much else is new here at least nothing exciting I can think of to tell you about.Im still doing good and eating my pellet berries so moms happy she says thats better then nothing.

My molting has slowed down some here the way I was losing feathers mom didnt think there was going to be anything left of me.They sure were flying everywhere too espically when mom uncovers me in the morning.I think my weight has been holding at 254 grams right around where I should be.Are you goo about getting on the scale?I am sometimes but I like to put up a fight sometimes too.
This year we are very dry up here.Its was very dry winter hardly any snow.This spring and summer are very dry also the weather gussers say we are in a moderate drought,boy its been hot too.Its finaly cooling down some but its not going to last my mom sure hates the hot and humid weather 70's is more like the weather she likes.
My mom also has a HTC phone hers is a htc hero.She said shes going to have to get that gas buddy one.She really likes using the google and the gps in nice too.
Sorry to hear about your mom having a kidney infection I really hope that she can find something that will work for her and help manage the problem.

Its always a nice suprise to see you too I think of you often and hope you are doing good.I miss getting to chat with you.Thats actualy my stroller I have mom got it for me last summer its a dog stroller but works for us birds and is much much cheaper then those bird strollers are.When I get outside I just love it and let out some shreaks to let the neighborhood know Im out and about.
Yeah my mom is really good about getting me on here I think it helps dad works third shift so when he leaves for work we get on here before we go to bed for the night.Oh and mom does some for me from work too.
I have been molting like crazy too mom says its a wonder how I have any feathers left on my body.I have been really itchy too I hate when Im going thru a molt.
You are getting older but not that old yet moms grandma had a cockatiel that lived to be 24 I think?He sure was mean and what a junk food aholic he was its a wonder how he lived to be so old?
Mom just got a fancy new phone too she never thought she would want a smart phone had no need for one but now that she has one she loves it and wont go back to a normal phone.Does your mom have internet on her phone?If so tell her to get into birdchannel from it.Then tell her to go to your account then edit profile from there she should hit the button where it says choose file when she does your phone should say picture from gallery and that should do it.I hope that helps.

Good to see you as always.So no Miss Honey?Thats okay better that way then to take her in and then find out it wasnt the right fit or the right desion.
Things are good here trying to get ready for the holidays,but as usual mom always puts everything off until the last minute.Shes been sick with a cold so everything is really at the last minute this year.Normaly she has all the baking done by now but has only done two batches but now that she is feeling better she will do the rest.
The weather here has been so up and down warm one week then cold the next.We finaly got snow friday night but by today it is pretty much all melted so it looks like its going to be a brown christmas.

Oh that is very exciting news!!!I cant wait to hear what you think of Miss Honey I bet you two will keep eachother good company.My parronts often think of getting another bird someday Im not sure what I would think of that?I kind of like being an only bird I want to be the only one getting the attention.
Well we have been getting an indian summer the past week its been in the upper 70's low 80's and nothing but sun.It was so nice but starting tomorrow its slowly going away its going to get cooler and cooler and some rain is going to move in.
Not much else going on here the parronts are busy working and dad went back to school this fall so hes extra busy.Im still eating my pelletberries but dad had to point out to my mom how Im really just eating the dates and the other fruit out of the pellet and dumping the rest.Then she watched me one morning hoding the pellet and sure enough she saw me picking through it.She said as lond as Im getting some of the pellet in me thats what counts.

Its always so nice to see you on my page for a visit.I hope your moms health will be better soon Im sorry to hear that she is having troubles we will keep her in our thought and prayers.Dont worry you wont be kicked off of BC for non use mom has seen some birdies pages were they have been inactive for over 500 days.Maybe when your mom has some time and is feeling up to it she can look into redeeming some of your points the last we look they had some cool toys you could get with your points.
Not much going on here just the same old same did I tell you mom got me a stroller?so I have been going for walks with her.Its really a dog stroller but works great for birds at first I was scared of the thing now I love it and will hop right in it.
Hows the weather by you?We have been seeing on the weather channel how crazy hot it is down there and what a drought some parts of Texas are having.I hope its not effecting you guys to bad.

Oh how I love your visits Im sorry I havent stopped by more often.Hopefuly no more set backs for your mom,how are things with you?I did hear from my friend Pico how hot its been in Texas and I thought it was hot here Im hearing in the 100's down there?It was in the 90's today with the heat index at 97 tomorrow will be hotter.My mom is on vacation this week and really glad she is at work because it gets extremely hot there.

Thanks for the vote - right back to you. I always try to vote for my birdie friends everytime I go to their blog - but I forget to tell them.
Thanks also for the tip on voting on the Beak to Beak. It could be pretty neat but need more involvement, I think, to make it work well. Oh well, I will keep checking and hope I see some of my friends there. Might even meet a few more.
No, my son didn't draw the picture but B.C. Peatree did. They were running a special from 4/7 to 4/14 and all you had to do was vote for them. Neat way to get votes. I should have checked when it first started and then check tomorrow to see how many votes it brought it.
Yeah, my mom is trying to learn her way around in B.C. Saturday I am invited to a Milonga party and Mom is going to try to get me there. I hope so, that is exciting.
Regarding posting new pictures. Mom can never remember which link she needs to go for general pics, and which ones for only flock members. If I accidently put anything else in there, that is what the blog picture is. I would like my regular pic and my portrait in the family album section but haven't figured that one out yet. But Mom will.
Well, it is really late and time to hit the hay. I have been sleeping in my house all day so late nights don't bother me, beside I get to cuddle mom all night.

At present no family members at Anderson - it didn't end well but not unexpected. Mom and Dad are thinking about selling their place in ID and going back to Texas. Dad is a born Texan and misses it - plus son is there. Just SE of Houston and one of mom's very best friends lives close by our son. I've been listening to them talk and they both agree that they don't want to buy another home. They have so many areas with family and friends where they want to stay for awhile that they have decided it might be best to rent for awhile.
Yes, I really enjoy visiting with Hulk and Squeaky. I use to visit a lot with Apple but I guess he is with new parronts now and they may not know about BC but I miss him. I also have a new friend who would love to visit with you. His name is Lodo and his number is 205354. Fly by and say hi.

It was so nice to hear from you,I just realized how long its been since I did stop by and give you a hello and a visit.We will be sending good thought and prayers your moms way for when she has surgery.I have been good here and still havent caused any trouble for a long time.I wish I had some answer for you on how to stop chewing on the wood doors.There was a period of time when I kept sneaking into the kitchen and chewing on the cabinets,I had managed to chew a nice strip off of them.I too had alot of nice wood toys in my cage to chew but chose to go after the cabinets.Then one day I just stopped and lost intrest in it.
Im still not on the pellets mom hasnt kept up with forcing it on me.One day she made this busy bread for me and pumped it full of pellets do you know I ate the bread around the pellets I wouldnt touch them.Moms really got to get serious with me and get me on them she says she wants me to live a healthy life.
As far as finding the time to geet on here mom usualy gets on during one of her breaks at work,then at night she will get on her lap top when she is watching tv and type away for me.It really doesnt take to long if she is on the computer to long it gives her a migraine.

We haven't heard from you in a while so we were wondering how your mom's surgery went and if she's recovering nicely. We guess it's getting warmer up there now. We are enjoying a sunny day on the porch. It has been super windy here though, especially in the afternoons. The papers in our cages just flies all over!!!! And the lovebirds have to hide in their happy hut.
Picabo is acting very cuddly lately and is scared of many things like hot dogs!!! Mom was eating a hot dog in a bun on the couch and Picabo nearly fell off the back of the couch, he was so scared of it. Yesterday he decided he didn't like where his food bowl is in his cage so he removed it and carefully carried it to the other side of the cage to another holder and placed it in there. He actually pounded it in place to get it secure.
Well, have a nice weekend and get back to us when you can. Hope your mom is on the road to recovery now!!!

We will be thinking of your mommy and keep her in our prayers and thoughts.Did you get to see the superbowl it was a exciting game and I even helped my mommy with the chearing she would chear and then I would make a chearing noice.My daddy wasnt to happy with the out come of the game he is not a fan of the packers at all like mommy is but you cant please everyone.

I think you sent us your cold weather - it comes from TX across the Gulf to us! hahaha
We had a cold front come in yesterday so today it was dark, drizzly and just generally icky! So we're all stuck inside!
Yesterday my parronts walked on the beach and saw a large group of very big dolphins swimming and playing in the Gulf. Mom thought it was so amazing. Since we don't live on the beach, we don't see dolphins often but they are there all the time. I think mom spent an hour watching them - they were jumping in the air and everything.
Here we have workers preparing the house for painting. They have to chip out cracks in the concrete and fill them back up. All we hear for 3 weeks is pound, pound, kaboom, pound!!!! Enough to give a bird a headache!!!! And then the painting will start but at least that should be quiet!!!! hehehe
Well, happy super bowl day almost. Picabo is rooting for Green Bay and dad is for the Steelers! I don't care as long as there's food! hehehe

Mom said she is just going to have to put her foot down once and for all and get tough with me and just give me those pellets till I break down and eat them.This week she is going to make me some birdie bread and fill it with crushed pellets for a start.I weigh around 255 grams which is around a normal weight but I still have to get healthy with eating those pellets.Not much going on around here just waiting for this long cold winter to end.Today we got up to 28 and mom said it felt pretty darn nice out there.Mom had the day off of work so I got alot of time in with her and she even made some homemade potato soup which is really yummy.See you later my friend.Come visit me, Hulk Vote Luigi(225307)BOTM.

A Valentine's Ladies Lunch sounds like a lot of fun! I bet all the ladies will enjoy meeting you too and making a fuss over you. My mom always loves Valentine's Day too. When she and dad were stationed apart in the Navy, she would take his picture with her to a restaurant and sit it by her plate on Valentine's Day. She had some other friends that went too and they did the same with their husbands' pictures.
Not much happening here. Mom said it smells like spring here but dad said it's the bio freeze he put on his sore knee! hahaha

NO, I didn't forget you and I'm so happy to see you back here again! So I guess you had a nice Christmas while the east coast had a white one? It was nice here in Mexico and yes, we still have leaves to clean up! Even the tropics has a sort of fall and winter when some trees lose all the leaves and of course the palm trees' branches are always falling off along with the ever growing coconuts!!!! They have to be harvested about every 3 months! And everything grows all year around so dad is always out in the yard pulling weeds, cactus and stuff that they don't want in the yard! But it was dry and warm on Christmas and then we had a cold front with a strong wind called a norte becos it comes from the north (from Texas) blow in on Christmas nite and it was really cold here until yesterday! Today was rather warm but it looks like another norte is coming in tonite or tomorrow - we'll see what happens. This is the dry season so even though we get high winds and cold, it doesn't usually rain or anything.
My parronts went to a Mexican friends' house for Christmas Eve dinner which is when they celebrate Christmas here. Then Christmas day they call "reheating day" and visitors come over and eat the leftovers all day long! They are going to the same friends' house for New Year's Eve for another dinner. The lady prepares food enough for 50 people although there are only about 8-12!!! My mom was so stuffed! Mom is busy knitting scarves for all her friends for gifts. Can you believe knitting scarves in the tropics? Well, once it hits 73 here, it is cold so everyone wears down jackets with hoods trimmed in fur, ear muffs, hats, gloves, boots - looks more like Alaska here than a tropical beach!!! hehehe
Well, time for bed - getting all snuggly in my chewed up towel! I wish you a happy holiday season and hopefully it will be a better year for you and your family. My dad loves golf and Picabo is always playing with golf balls - maybe you should start a business finding and selling used balls with your dad!!! There is money for toys and treat in that! hahaha

dont worry I didnt faint when I heard from you and dont feel bad you and your family has just been very busy.That would be nice if you had more time in the new year to fly around more then maybe you can go to some of the parties on here with me.Yes we had a white christmas we had a few snow storms earlier in the month that gave us a good emountof snow it even snowed on christmas eve a little it was pretty.Did santa come and visit you?He came to my place and left me a toy,I got a candycane shaped piniata that has raisins and dries papaya and pineapple in it.I have been pretty good for the most part mom had to take the gifts out from under the tree until christmas because I was tearing the paper off of one of them which turned out was mine and I bit one box and put a hole in it.Have fun on the golf course maybe I should fly down by you and then I can help get the golf balls.I have a ball I like to chase around.See you laterCome visit me, Hulk Vote Luigi(225307)BOTM.

Hi Sonny
Hows it going?Not to bad here but we are in the middle of a wind storm it has been very windy for 2 days now suppost to let up tomorrow.Mom has been on vacation all week so its so nice having her with me.
As for Rusty he is a 1 year ols african grey who is part of my friend Romeos flock from tennessee.Well his mom was holding him and something startled him and he flew off into some trees and was stuck up there.So his mom got some neighbors to help and got a ladder and was climbing up there to get him and off he flew again.At one point a hawk was bothering him he was outside for about 24 hours.Eventually his mom was able to coax him to fly down to her and he was saved.It was really something and thank goodness he made it home safely.After he got home he got a good wing trim.I got to fly my sweet potatoes are ready for me.Come visit me, Hulk Vote Luigi(225307)BOTM.

It's great to hear from you. Papa and us are doing OK. Glad you like our new photos, they were taken by mom and papa just found them and put them up. Yes, the weather is cooling down here. It's nice. Hope you enjoy that window. But, watch out for the golf balls. There almost as big as you are. You all have a great time and we will peck at you later also. Come visit me, Pretty & Harley.
