Big Bird 12 years old M Macaw Pecan peanuts and figs Top of my cage The dog Rambo and the Cockatoo Goldie she loves me as I am and always has time to talk and rub my head regardless of how busy she is I like to chew on my owners shirts and I yell (really loud) every time I see a male I also can't stand the site of broom handles or canes. .

I hope your day is going grat too! Mom wants to clean my cage, but I just got it perfect! I don't know why she feels the need to clean it up when I have a perfectly wonderful pile of wood on the bottom! I like looking at it!!

Well, not good news from the VET
9 breaks, 4-5 fractures --left leg
4-5 breaks 1-2 fractures -right leg
5-7 or 8 breaks on my right wing
Can't fix anything. The VEt said someone threw me breaking my wing, legs severely at one time
Between then and my rescue I received the other breaks and fractures--they can tell the age of injuries.
Vet said I lived in severe pain in my early life. I read your story too. SAD> WHY?
How about you and I meeting at my perch FRIDAY AT 3PM?
I have to talk to you about our stories and how we could save others from what we lived through. I have an idea.
If you want a heads up go to my pal AUDI'S it is on there in part.

Sounds good. How about some day next week other then Tuesday? Wednesday I go to the VET about my wing. Cross your wings they can fix it for me. My appointment is at 2:30. Maybe we better say Thursday or Friday. Most days I'm good.

Sidney here. We were very happy we could share Jimmy's day. We miss Orbit too. He was my cagemate.
No we haven't been to any vets yet. Where is Avian and Exotic care? When we asked our vet who he may recommend he said the avian vet in the university. But if there's one closer...how expensive is he/she? Mom says we really need our well checks. could you email mom? nmymind@hotmail.com. She's got lots of questions.

How is your day going? I'm in the paly cage having a snack right now. Since mom has a cold, dad has been the one to move me from room to room.
I got sunshine today and we might even get up to the 50's. I think it's going to be a very pretty day and I might get a chance to sit by the window for a while! That will be nice.

Good Morning
I haven't been on BC too long but I haven't seen another one either. I did visit a hybrid of some type but it has a lot of yellow on it. Too bad that your breeder wasn't good to you. I understand about abuse. My wing in my photos is the result of abuse by my first owners. My feet too. I don't remember the whole story, I was too young. BUT the Vet thinks I likely bite someone who threw me and broke my wing and legs just above the wrist joints.
I went to a rescue at 8 mos like that. I lived there until last year when I moved into my forever home.
