I'm in luck today, getting the chance to fly around and say "hi" to my friends. What's new in your world? In checking the weather radar, it looks like rain is a possibility for you which would mean we're having similar types of weather today. The skies have dumped water on me most of the morning. Sometimes I actually go out in the aviary part of my building and play in the rain but I haven't today. I got a good shower yesterday from the spray bottle as it hadn't rained for a number of days.
I'm wondering, since our poll question is about our names, if your mom gave you your name or if you came with it. Since I was hatched right here, I was given my name, one chosen from a Muppet character. If I had to guess, I'd say your name was chosen because of your color; you look a lot like a crisp green apple! CUTE!

How's everything??? I hope you are enjoying the summer! We are having really nice weather and the really hot stuff only lasted 3 days. With all this sunshine I was kinda wondering if we moved while I was asleep!LOL
Nothing really exciting going on around here. Lots of clean up stuff--as usuall! When mom was cleaning out the turtle tank on Sunday, she found 7 eggs! The turtles were supose to both be boys so this kinda freaked her out. Turns out the eggs aren't any good if they are left in the water. In the wild--Florida--they would lay the eggs in the mud and then leave. Not very good parents are they? Mom's sister left the turtle here along with me and the dog, and she promised mom they were both boys! Guess it takes them 5 years before they are grown-up enough to do the egg thing! Next year they will be living in separate tanks from May to July!HAHAHA
