Vet Visit I took Joey to the vet on Wednesday for a complete check up. Including wing clipping, toes, and beak trim. He also recieved a microchip as well. Vet said that he was in great condition and I am very pleased with the outcome. He enjoyed the car ride and talked all the way there and back home. He has started a bit of combination moulting and feather plucking. Vet suggested he take a couple of bath's a day to help out. So I purchased a product called Tropical Rain. Hello John Henry You know it would be kinda nice to have some company that is of the feathered kind we could keep eachother company while my parronts are at work or running errands.Mom would love to get a congo african grey but also she would like to get another senegal that is what she had before I came to live with her.She said he was such a sweet smart little guy he would call her mommy she would be in another room and she would call out his name and he would call out mommy.So she is not quite sure yet but she will know whats best when the time comes.Hope you are having a good day. Hello John Henry Thanks for stopping back, I love making new friends here. We've been having really warm weather this week, so mom is getting to the pool daily--she loves it, we don't, so much as it means we are here entertaining ourselves for a couple of hours each afternoon. Today, she is going to make bows for gift baskets when she gets back and she said maybe I could help. If I'm going to help, though, I have to refrain from saying my favorite word, which is STUPID, while she works. She somehow doesn't appreciate my comments on her skills! Here's a vote, fly by soon. Hi John Henry It's me, Chilli I was up early and ate some of my food. And last night, I was real active before bed time. I was still eating when dad put me back in our room. Today I'm still a little drowzy but dad's gonna watch me and he may or may not give me the medicine tonight. the vet doesn't want me to skip too many doses. I guess they have a lot of that pink stuff and they want to get rid of it. Why would your mom move you just because you peeled off the wallpaper? I always thought that demolition and remodeling ware our main jobs. Well, I hope you have a good day. Hi John Henry. Hi Kaliajh It's me, Chilli. I don't belivev we've met before. Mighty pleased to meet you both. I love your names. Please excuse the use of copy and paste but so many friends have asked my how I'm doing that I will never catch up if I don't Today I was not as active as yesterday. But I still ate good and my poopies are looking almost normal. I napped alot today but dad knows that I'm getting better and rest is good for me. I bit dad again when he gave me my meds. I think I have the right to, because he squerts that pink yucky stuff in my mouth. If i could, I'd spit it out. After the meds dad brought me into the living room to watch TV with him, so he could watch me. I ate a little more and than setteled into my favorite corner, under my food cup and proceded to grind my beak and flip my wings. Dad says that is a sign of comfort and contentment. Well, that's it for tonight. I hope you had a good day. Hi John Henry Alex your Blue and Gold friend here. Thank you so much for the visit. It is so nice to talk to another Blue and Gold and I really like you because your so handsome and are just as big as me or even bigger. Mom says I am huge for a blue and gold but you can not tell from my picture. My flockmate Sweetie another blue and gold in the flock and I have bonded and are always looking for a place to nest when we are outside of our cages. I love to throw things I will throw anything on top of my cage down to the floor if it is not bolted down. Mom had to buy these special locking dishes for outside the cage and I can not get them lose to throw but the verdict is still out to see if I can figure it out.
