Lovely Thursday morning...we had some screeching owls in our next box...but they are gone this morning...this was our second season with them...last year they had four babies...hopefully, they had four again this year? You must be online, too!! In Yahoo groups, if you are online, you can type back and forth to each other. We add pictures, and some of the people get pretty crazy. My mom went to the website you suggested, and it was pretty cool. Yahoo groups is about the same. We only have about 15 members, so it is a little more private, and we all got to know each other through BC. My mom doesn't blog on BC much anymore due to all the campaigning for votes. Our friends started a yahoo group, so we correspond that way. You only have to type one message, and everyone sees it. Saves alot of time, especially when we have birdie parties. I had a weekend party here for spring break. It was lots of fun. We had a dance at night, and went swimming during the day, and swooped down to steal food from beachgoers. If you want to join our group, let me know. I know your mom is in other groups, too, so maybe she doesn't have time for more. Hope you are eating and gaining lots of weight with the help of your medicine. Thanks for stopping by! I still think of Woody all the time - he was a special friend I miss him dearly!! I did get a Senegal parrot. I am his third owner. I went in a pet store, which is a no no for me, & I felt so sorry for this bird. He had been in a small cage on the floor for a year. Owner said he was very mean. But Nubbie liked me right off the bat & let me pet him. The shop owner was so surprised. I tried to tell him, what you put into an animal, you'll get back out! He has been a good friend, but he IS VERY stubborn! It was very hard going through this breeding season - he bites very hard!! But I've learned how to deal with him & things are better now. It sounds like you are getting better!!!!! Maybe you can have some of Asha's salmon patties and Cheetos to help get your weight up. You have a long way to go to catch up to MY weight. The vet said I'm OK if I stay right around 400g. My mom thinks that is alot. But you are a very dainty female, so you should weigh less---right? I like your new pictures. Is that your mom? She is very pretty---for a human. I miss the picture of you holding a flag. I like tht one.

When I went to teh vet six months ago I weighed 388 grams and this last time it was 397. That's what got the doc worried. I would be glad to loan you some tonnage but I don;t think we can do that voer the internet. I got to spend the day out on the proch today and it looks good again fro tomorrow. I love being out in the fresh air, even thought Dad does come out and smoke his stinky cigars sometimes. I put up with it because I am a very nice birdie. I saw on Echo's page that your were losing weight. I have the opposite porblem, I am gaing too much weight and have high cholesterol. The vet said it might lead to fat deposits around my liver and heart and kill me. I got put on a diet so no more salmon patties or cheetos. Hope you get to feeling better! Have a great day! Hi Frito!!!!!!
I am SOOOOOOOO sorry to hear of your illness. What a HORRIBLE thing!!! Is there a cure? Will the medicine help? I've never been sick, or needed medicine. My cousin the African Grey, had a calcium deficiency from day one, and ended up with respitory problems, and deformities. He just crossed the Rainbow Bridge a month ago at age 6. It was very sad. I had a couple of friends cross the bridge within the past couple of weeks due to lead poisoning in blocks. So my mom and I really hope you will be OK. We will send up birdie and people prayers for you.

I MISS YOU ! ! ! ! Hope all is well with you and your flock. It is real busy around here. Feathers are flying!! I helped my mom decorate the birdie tree in our entrance. My mom is writing a generic message to wish all my friends a Merry Christmas, and Happy New Year!!!! I am all ready for Santa Bird. My stocking is hung. My only wish is that my mom will have more time after the holiday to spend more time on the Bird Channel. I am sure she will. I miss blogging, but my mom says things will ease up real soon. My mom's computer crashed a couple of weeks ago, so we were out of commission for a while. She got it fixed, and then the truck needed to be fixed. If it ain't one thing, it's another. My dad is out of town for a couple of days, so I get Mom all to myself. I love it. She doesn't have to cook, and I get ALL the attention. Take care, and I'll squawk at you alter. I am on a pirate adventure with Asha, Zazoo, Captain Jack Sparrow, Lola, and some others I don't even know. The adventure is taking place on Captain Jack Sparrow's blog. It is pretty funny, so if your mom wants some laughs, she should check it out. We have rum on board, and one of the shipmates has an eyepatch, and a sword. My mom used to take me for walks around the block, but she doesn't anymore because of all the hawks around here. She doesn't want to take any chances. I'm glad!! Here's a vote for you, and I hope you come visit soon. It is real smokey here today from all the brush fires. Mom says she hopes it rains soon. Our lawn is all burned up too. We can only water the yards once a week. Mom has to keep the bird bath filled in the yard, so the wild birds can get some fresh water.Come visit me, Echo.
