 I went to the same local breeder that I got my Parrolett from to look at african grey's, after discussing it with her as to which would be the best Family pet she directed me to the Goffin Cockatoo, we instantly fell in love and he/she should be coming home 10/2/09.. |

Thank you for the compliments. Dad says he knows more about toos then he ever thought he would. Make sure your mom gives you a misting atleast once a week. This will keep your skin healthy and keep the dust off of you. Have her rub your neck feathers (pin feathers) and they will open up and you will have a lovely neck. No foods like raw onions or apple seeds because they will make you sick. Does she subscribe to birdtalk Magazine? Well worth the few dollars they charge.
Also, if your cage is lined with paper, have mom change it at night and not in the morning. This is much more sanitary for you. If you dont like a food the first time she offers it to you, you may like it the next time.
Very, very little dairy products because they will go sour in your crop. Tell your mom that she can make alot of your toys. Use sisal rope available at hardware stores. This rope will not hurt you. Little scraps of wood can be died with food coloring.
If your mom goes to "Youtube" and types in "Barry the cockatoo" dads videos will come up and you can see the toys hemade for us. well i better be off for now. Leaving you a vote, Pearl
