  Happy Thanksgiving Dory !
Take a turkey, stuff it fat,
Some of this and some of that,
Get some turnips, peel them well;
Cook a big squash in its shell.

Now potatoes, big and white
Mash till they are soft and light.
Cranberries, so tart and sweet,
With the turkey we will eat.

Pickles - yes - and then, oh my !
For dessert a pumpkin pie.
Golden brown and spicy sweet,
What a fine Thanksgiving treat !

Come visit me, Cookie - waiting for SantaBird, BC Library Now Open & Fly with the angels my Sally.

  Hi Dory!
Mommy is back from her camping trip! She got home yesterday, and we were all excited to see her. Especially Grey Bird.....he promptly regurgitated on her. LOL. Mom said that she actually had a lot of fun, besides her 10 million mosquito bites and sleeping on the ground. They played some intense man hunt/hide and seek, and they went to a play ground while it was pouring down rain (which she said was AWESOME). By the time they were done, everybody was soaking wet. :P She has a scary story from the camp out....while they were playing man hunt, she and her sister hid behind a car. They were found, so they went and sat down until the rest of the people were found. About five minutes after they were found, a HUGE tree branch fell right where they were hiding! If they weren't tagged, mom and auntie Ellie could have been terribly hurt (or killed)! Thank goodness they were tagged! Anyway.....the weather outside was so nice today! It was chilly, which was awesome because it has been so hot. I hope it stays this way! Goodnight! Hugs, Peatree

  Hi Dory
I hope mom's car is back in business before long! And that the repair was not too costly, too...
Today should be a boring laundry day and maybe some yard cleanup if it dries up out there. We had rain overnight, so it's pretty wet in the yard yet, although the street is drying now. Of course if it rains again today, that's a great excuse for mom to settle in and read!
Last night Aunt Gin came over for dinner and a movie. They had pizza, so we had crusts. Even Falco will eat a little pizza crust sometimes and the rest of us love it. They watched a movie called Still Alice, with Julianne Moore. It was really interesting and sad, but neither of them liked the ending, which was really rather abrupt. Mom joked that the screenwriters must have run out of paper. Aunt Gin left right after the movie, as she's still taking antibiotics for her sinus infection, and felt she should be home resting.
I hope you are having a great day today, and getting lots of cuddles and scritches. Hugs, Willie

Come visit me, Gizmo and Divo, mom loves you both, Willie, Tweety for BOTM, Peppino, vote Tweety & Falco, vote Tweety for BOTM.

  Hi Dory!
Peatree here! How are you doing? We are SO CLOSE to moving into our new house! SO CLOSE! Mom is so ready to be in her own house again. The only thing holding us up is a German Cockroach problem in the kitchen. Unfortunately, we have to spray for them. Which delays the move in, because us birdies can't move in until a few days after they spray. But, hopefully they do it soon and they go away so we can move in! We have a new little yellow flock member, Paris the budgie. Mom found him and adopted him from Craigslist, because Dobby seemed so LONELY and she wanted to get him another budgie friend. If you haven't met him yet, go over and say hi! I'm sure he'd love to meet you! I haven't met him in birdson yet, but I can hear him! Mom got to see the Hunger Games: Mockingjay 2 tonight. Grandma got special VIP tickets (for FREE), so that they got to see it early! She said that is was so amazing that she couldn't even.... what ever that means. LOL.
Hugs, Peatree

  Hi Dory
This morning when dad uncovered me after a while I went into the kitchen to show him what he should have for breakfast. There were crackers there and I tried to open them for him but he didn’t seem to want them and wrapped them back up and then he made me go back to my condo. I went back over to rattle the crackers a bit more and knocked the peanut butter jar on the floor but he still didn’t get the hint that I wanted that for my breakfast. By then mom came out and got my breakfast of oatmeal and apple sauce but not those crackers or peanut butter. I tell you humans arent very smart sometimes! “A little love is like a drop of water giving enough strength to a wilted flower to righten itself” Leaving a vote for you…Your kissing cousin, Gus (RIP Chi chi)

Come visit me, Gus- & Chi chi RIP my sweet girl..
