  Hi Dory
while mom was feeding us this morning she looked outside and there was a big buck standing on our patio looking in the window. Boo Boo didn't make a sound. the buck was very jumpy like someone was after it and it jumped down to the neighbors yard and hung around for about an hour before taking off.

love Cori

  Hi Dory
No dont think that suet would be good for any of us fids. It has a lot of fat in it. It helps the outside birds keep warm probably.Today we anxiously watched to see some finches and new fids come to eat the suet that mom made and dad hung out. All we got was a bunch of black birds and they were here off and on all day long. The only time they didn’t show up was when a hawk was sitting in the tree waiting on them to come back. Once he left they came back and by the end of the day both of the containers were empty and nobody got to eat but the black birds! Dad said he will hang them down on the trail and feed those birds down there. Mom doesn’t think she will be making any more suet and dad can just stick to feeding the wild birds the food he has been feeding them. ”Dear Winter, I’m breaking up with you. I think its time I start seeing other seasons. Summer is hotter than you.” V4U Your friend, Gus (RIP Chi chi)

Dory and Cookie wonder if there's
any such thing as birthday BELLS ? Instead, before signing the cake, they play the birthday song on their BELLS ! Maybe it can be the Happy BELLday Song !

They ring and sing and squawk out their song to mama Terry, who smiles and thanks them :) They're just about to enjoy a slice of birthday cake when they hear the BELL of the ice cream truck ! !

Come visit me, Cookie - staying warm, BC Library Now Open & Fly with the angels my Sally.

  Hi Dory
Mom was a little worried today. She had to go to the museum, which is about a half hour drive. The freezing rain is falling, as predicted. For a change the guessers were right on target with the times. They said it would start late morning and continue to early afternoon. It took forever to drive, but she got home safely.
What's really funny is it was a bunch of PreK kids. Mom had an 'older' group, which meant they were 4. They should only schedule the little ones for 30 to 45 minutes, but these were scheduled for an hour tour. Herding cats, anyone? Cats with the attention span of goldfish, that is...
Other than that, there's nothing new. I hope you are having a great day and getting lots of cuddles and scritches. Hugs, Willie

Come visit me, Gizmo, I miss you, sweet boy, Willie, Peppino, Divo & Falco.
