 I too was at the same Animal Hospital as my brother Static when two people came by to see us birds up for adoption. I'm partial to men, and when the woman walked passed, I didn't say a word. The minute I saw her husband walk in, I decided to say "hoi!" He and I have been best buds since! Although, I do love my mom tons:) I don't know exactly why I am the way I am, the people at the hospital had been working with me to step-up with a rope. My parents don't know whether or not I was mistreated in the previous home or if I just wasn't handled enough. Now I step up onto their hands, run to them and sit on their shoulders, and crave to be held and get the good 'ole neck rub that I wouldn't let them do before.. |

ALMONDS... I love nuts, mainly almonds though. I do love dried fruit, but love fresh fruit when they aren't really cold.
 Shoulders, sofa, the knee, on top of his cage, and our bed.
 If I don't see my papa or get any almonds, I can get pretty mad.
 They're very caring and never gave up on me! I get so excited to see them and spend tons of time on the sofa with them eating a snack or just watching tv and yapping while it's on. They love to see me happy and I know that they will do whatever they can to keep me in good spirits. I never thought I would be able to trust humans again, but these guys had so much faith in me.
 I love chasing after my parents, laughing when watching tv with them or just on my own, 'cause I'm crazy. I like to cat-call and make my brother cat-call with me! I also enjoy doing the splits while sleeping. Oh, and I like to "burp" too!.
 "I say 'hoi' as if I'm from Bahstin...".

I am a Lilac-crown, too but I am a girl! I have a very similar story to yours. I was in a pet shop and I didn't even have a name. The shop owners let me out of the cage every day and one day my mommy was there to visit and look around. I reached out as far as I could from the cage and tried to bite her. Later, she brought Daddy with her. When I saw him, I said "WOOOOOOOW!". The rest is history. I still won't let mommy touch my royal plumage but I will step up for her and give her kisses. But the kisses are ONLY to get to Daddy. Well, I have to go for now. I do hope you stop by my page for a visit. Here is a vote for you, handsome!
