Hello, Cupcake!
Thanks for flying in for a visit! We enjoyed your company! Yes, I did have a horrible beginning to life but there is silver linings to black clouds! I truly believe that! Not sure what kind of bird that green bird was but he was about twice the size of me. Mom talked to the store owner about our situation but to no avail. He frankly didn't care. He was there for the $$$! As far as taming me, mom had no problem. She provided me with a wonderful cage, clean water, fresh food and LOTS OF LOVE. She gave me a bath with baby shampoo (I didn't like that at all but it was necessary!) and took me to the vet to have my claw looked at. That was twelve years ago and all is well now. I live a charmed life with my cage mate, Comet. She worked with me over the years and I have come to love mom and I have learned a lot. I still don't like or trust men and probably never will. I love my life and my forever home and mom ;-)
You and Bobber make a wonderful pair. You guys are so cute! We see you love popcorn. So do we!!! We love head scratches even more!
We are off and flying for now! Stop in anytime for a visit!

Bobber and mom
We're so sorry for your loss. We know how hard it is on the whole family. We're so pleased you put her here for us all to see how pretty and loved she was.
We had another flock member for only a few days but we got to love little Piemur. He was a lovie. He was found outside very thin and a broken leg. Sweet Cupcake
I realized that others put up pages as tribute to their loved ones. We only had Cupcake a few months, but she left a big hole when she died. She was a beautiful pied and was such a sweet tempered baby bird.Come visit me, Cupcake, Bobber & Little Girl.
