 Sid is a baby from Charlie & Claire's second clutch. We had to assist her hatching, then feed her when the parents refused to. She has some developmental disabilities, has vision problems, and has severe loss of function in both feet. But we love her just the way she is.. |

Kaytee
So Sorry, I understood it as this was due to the recent recall, not from an older issue.......
BUT I am interested in knowing more about it......How are you sure it was the formula, I am not aware of any other recalls, as I am a breeder myself I need to know these things!
I have used Kaytee for 18 yrs now....and NEVER had any problems with it.
I have also been working with Kaytee in regards to the recent recall, and they have been very concerned, supportave and willing to comply. So again, I go back to.......can you tell me anything without a doubt, why I should stop using it? (I have 7 babies that were fed this recalled formula......3 have had their blood work and all is good......SO FAR.....I am a lucky one!) The others will be tested in a few more wks, as it does not always show up right away we thought it best to wait a bit.
No I am not being sarcastic! Simply trying to learn. As I said, I have been breeding birds, all sorts of birds, for a lot of yrs......I learn something new almost every day! I also am willing to absorb any and all info you have for me.
Nutmeg and Zippy will keep Sid in their prayers.
