HI I don't want to be a weirdo about how you feed your bird or anything but quakers are not suppose to have sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds or anything fatty or they will get fatty liver disease my quaker did and he died. I am not saying your quaker will die I am just looking out for it. quakers are very prone to sickness and you have to be careful v4u hugs and good luck just so you know I am a vet! HI MICHIO HEY THAT OK MY MOM GET BUSY AT TIMES TO AND NOW THAT SHE FOUND FACEBOOK THERE IS NIGHT WE CAN NOT EVEN GET ON HERE CAUSE SHE IS ON FACE BOOK GRRRRRR. IS YOUR MOM ON FACE BOOK? IF NOT YOU ARE ONE LUCKY BIRD.. WE HAD SOME SEVER WEATHER ON FRIDAY BUT NOT TORNADOS BUT A TOWN THAT IS ABOUT A HOUR AWAY FROM US HAD TORNADOS WARNING BUT NOT DAMAGE IT WAS JUST A SIGHTING OF A FUNNEL CLOUD.. WE DID GET HEAVY RAIN, HIGH WINDS LIGHTING, THUNDER, HAIL BUT THAT WAS ABOUT IT AND WE SURE WAS GLAD NO SIRENS WENT OFF BUT MOM HAD OUR TRAVEL CAGES READY JUST IN CASE WE HAD TO MOVE FAST.. MOM DID GO TO THE BIRD FAIR HERE AND CAME HOME WITH NEW SNUGGLE HUTS, TOYS TREATS AND FOOD FOR US SO WE HAD A GOOD SUNDAY AND WAS HAPPY TO TRY A NEW TREAT THROUGH OUT THE NIGHT. MOM BOUIGHT US THESE PUMKIN SEEDS THAT ARE HOT N SPICY AND BOY DID US QUAKER LOVE THEM.. Welcome Michio You are a cutie and love your profile pics how adorable.. hey you like froggies and I like ducks yep I say what a duck say then Quack Quack and my new word are trick or feet just cannot get that treat to come out right so it sounds like feet but mom thinks it is cute.. I also have to tell her good morning about 10 times when she uncovers me in the morning and I say lots of other things too.. As you can see from my food list I love to eat hehehe.. well today is a laZY Saturday for us mom got up and washed our our cages early and now all we have done is play hang with mom and teen skin brothers and play on our gym boing and fake tree. Hi Michio Quakers are so cuddly! I wonder if you have not had a lot of exposure to men and children. Polly (quaker), takes exception to certain family members, but usually because they do not interact with him in frequent, consistent, and HIS way. (quakers have attitudes) Or it may be just your attitude, birds have interesting notions. Polly likes the Ps too, popcorn, papaya, but what about Pineapple? Hi Michio Kiwi here. Welcome to BC and have another quaker vote! Oh we quakers are like that. We know who we like and what we want. AND we voice our opinions. hehe Right now mom's not happy with me because I'm attacking her every chance I get. like when she gives me food/water. my bath any time I can. And she's the only one who does feed me and give me my bath and nearly everything. I haven't drawn blood yet tho. I LOVE my dad. I can't get enough of him. I will go to mom when it's time to go to bed.She takes me up to bed and gives me lots of snuggles (even tho I've been biting all day). Gotta love our parronts.
