 we were at bird store to get food and toys for our birds, when his previous owner was in there with him and tried to trade him in for one of their African Greys. UNBELIEVABLE!!!- !! and we could not even entertain the thought of him now hanging around the store until someone wanted a 10 year old eclectus. ...since we know the owners and they knew we would give him a great home, they sold him to us for a way below market price. He is such a sweet and loving bird.....yet he was traded like a used car:( IMPORTANT: mom put my profile up, but if you want to squawk at me, please do it via my frother Max's page. he will relay the message [he is spokesbird for our flock] Just not enough time for mom to check four different profiles for messages. I will also reply under Max's sign on:). |

Sorry to hear that your previous family traded you in like a used car...people like that should not have parrots. Us birdies live a long time and we need forever homes with loving families who are committed to us!!!! I am glad that you have a forever home now. My Mom bought Pedro, Rocket and Buddy at bird stores. She thought that she was done buying birdies...but then she got the "bird itch" again. Mom decided that if she took in just one more bird, it would have to be a rescue bird. Mom found me on craig's list; and I was in a foster home. Mom says our flock is complete now!!!! I see that you like to regurgitate to your Dad...I do that, too, to my Mom!!! That is a real sign of birdie love!!!!Mom says I am a real sweetheart; and I am as pretty on the inside as I am on the outside! Fly on in for a visit soon!
