 We wanted a bird that talked. So we did some research, found what we wanted. Found a breeder in Lodi and picked out Emma before she had any feathers. Before we could take her home, we spent driving back and forth visiting her at the breeders before going home. When it was time, she flew direclty to us. She knew who her owners were.. |

How are you today? It is so nice to meet you too! We love meeting new friends! You know when Mommy was 1st researching birdies she wanted and African Grey too - she had a name all picked out for him - Earl Grey. But then Phoenix Landing (the birdie rescue org that mommy got us two girls from) called and said they really needed a good home for me - and so it all began. Thanks for flying by and for the vote. Hello Emma!
Considering you are the bird that I meet just by clicking "next proflie" you'd think I'd have done that by now! I'm so silly! I'm pleased to meet you. Also considering I'm a gray California bird, you'd think I'd have at least a foggy clue as to your general location, but I'm clueless there too. Maybe I'd do better if you were from the African savannah....well, maybe not. I'm a Red-Bellied Parrot (not a touch of red on me--except for the EYES) and I am a bonafied carrot afficianado! (I'll also do just about anything for a Cheez-it.) We seem to have lots in common. I like to ride one of my cats-- I guess that's teasing, though I consider it "alternate transportation." I also love going outside--be it in the neighborhood wearing my flight suit, or going on vacation on the road with my humans. (I got to see elk in Yellowstone last year! Those antlers would make a really nice perch!) I'd love to hear more about you and the words and sayings you've learned. I talk lots, but only mommy understands about 50% of it. Everyone else says I mumble, but I say they're just not listening closely! V2U and ciao for now!Come visit me, Sarabi.

Hi Emma,
My name is Remy I live with my new mom and dad,the kids and grand kids and Falcor the Meyer's parrot. I've only been with them ince 5/24/07check out my profile some day.I think im going to like it here. your lucky, only one home. This is at least my third, momsays its also my last.(i think she means it). I'm still ajusting. everything is all so new,the vet, the car, the people, the attention,the veiw( im by the window) and the food(oh my gosh)i get something new and yummy every day.Everyday can you beleave it,who new there where so many,yummy new things to eat(my last owner said i was picky) No WAY!!! she jut didn't give me freash stuff.
any way, mom has to get back to work now( he works from home)so i'll stop by later and ay hi.

Hi Emma; YEah I love making my mommmy clean after me too, I even make cute noises when she has to pick up my toys I throw on the floor too hee hee. And YES I also love going for car rides once the weather warms up. I make these cute noises at stuff I see. And whistle at mommy .
