 Saturday of the 15th, Klink was found laying on the bottom of his cage, still warm at 12 a.m.. We do not know what happened, but this page will stand in memory of him.
Klink was by far my favorite of the budgies, and he is missed dearly. He new rests next to the other budgies Tweety and Squishy, and our beloved cat Licorice. Beautiful colorful coleus plants stand above his grave.

In Honor of Klink
As a way to commemorate of our bird friends whom we've had to say good bye to here on the Bird Channel, a special section is being prepared on The Calendar Page as a memorial to their passing. Might Klink's name and the date of his death be included? Not only would we like to share in the remembered sadness of his passing but also recall with fondness the happy memories of his life.

I am so sorry you have flown off to the Rainbow Bridge. I know how very sad your family & flock is right now and I'm keeping them in my prayers!

Wait, is eggnant even a word? Ha ha ha ha! I'm getting eggs in about 2 or 3 months, yeah I should change it to: " Fwanky might have eggs!" Thanks for the heads up!
Also, how did your wings get bloody? Does it hurt you? It's weird, you know one time I had a bloody nose, my mom tried to take it off with a tissue, but it was already dried up. But it went away anyway...
In addition, what was wrong with Pluto, when I looked at his pic, he looks pretty calm to me. Screaming and yelling- WHAT?!?! I think it was because he was cranky, don't worry, he doesn't hate ya! I hope Pluto apologizes to you, or maybe, he'll forgot what happened! :P
Well, I hope your wing is doing fine, and try to type to Snowflake and Wawa, it's like one is blue, and one is white, it's like what you would look like without your blue and white mixed together!!! Well, BYE!!

You are a pretty budgie! Joey here with a vote for you. Sounds like you had a rough time. It is always good to check and make sure that the blood feather is not bleeding as that can be very dangerous. Mom had that happen with Melody, Olivia and Chicklet once. She needed to restrain them and pull the feather out of the shaft as it wouldn't stop bleeding. Then she applied pressure to the follicle and then quick stop. Hope you are feeling better now!
Your budgie cagemates are bullies, huh? It is good that you have a more peaceable roommate now. Some birds are just not compatible! Good thinking on your mom's part to move you to a better place. We all have our own cages so we are lucky. All of us enjoy our 'privacy'. hehehe.

Sunny here! Comet gets a bit tuckered out these days so I am here to help him out. He is doing good this morning and took the rightful left shoulder of his dad this morning to read the newspaper. He didn't lose any more water weight overnight but he didn't gain any either. We are happy with that. Comet had a bowl of warm veggies this morning along with some hot cereal. A meal fit for a King! He didn't want to take his medications, as usual, but mom convinced him that being King doesn't mean he doesn't have to take them! He agreed and his loyal servant, mom, served his Royal Grayness his morning meds along with a bunch of kisses and head scritches! His Highness is here with mom to thank all of you for voting him BOTD! He is truly humbled by this honor and would like to pass along a huge thank you to King Floop for all his help and kind words.
Dad brought mom's favorite chinese dinner last night. Mom hasn't been eating well since the news and he wanted her to eat something. Along with the meal was a fortune cookie. Mom finished her meal and then cracked the cookie open. Guess what it said? You won't believe this! 'You will receive enormous support over the next week. Accept it graciously.' That truly fits how we feel about our BC friends. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for all the prayers, well wishes and support all of you have given us the past few days. Mom don't know where she would be without all of you by her side.
