 End of September, 2011: Poor Blueberry passed away at the end of September... we miss you Bluey and all your sweetness! She may have had a cold or infection. We gave her medicine, treatment, and a warm snuggly place to recover. After perking up, things started to look MUCH better, but then she suddenly left us with little warning... RIP Bluey!!

I am from Issaquah, WA.
 Bluey Wooey.. and I am a true princess!
 6 years old  F
I love being fed by Homey. In fact, when there is millet spray offered, I let him eat.. and then make him share! However, I also LOVE lettuce, spinach, basil, and fresh greens!
I also developed a great LOVE for carrots. My mummy will put a huge organic carrot in the cage every morning, sometimes two, and I will start shredding it immediately! The end result is a pile of perfect carrot shreds. Also, if you give me brocolli stem, I will give you green shreds! This is great fun and the other budgies will help me with my 'projects'.
 I love stealing Ogre's favorite bedtime ring at night.. and basically, wherever I want to go---I make the others move aside for me! So therefore, the best hang out spot is where I am at!
 Hah.. so many indeed!
 She brought me home, she saved my life, and provides me with so much love!
 I am always the last to leave- whether it is the cage, or the playground, or the perch... I also bark when I am an uncomfortable position.
I am the baby of the family. I have begged for food from all the budgies at some point, and have been fed by each of them. Homer is my special friend, my mate, and he feeds me and takes care of me every day!.
 Cute as a button!.

It's Lucky.
I'm getting more used to my new home each day. I am sitting and twittering and chattering more and more. And when dad comes to my cage, I move over to the side he's on so I can listen to him "talk" to me.
I didn't call to Chilli at all today. Dad moved her cage and I'm in the spot where Chilli was. It seems to have helped.

It was agreat honor to be able to help you achive your dream of botd. Yes we sure are missing Chilli alot and Chi chi and her were very good friends so really hard on her. In time things will be better for her though. Mom set me in the kitchen window and the sun was shining on me brightly this morning. It sure did feel good. We did get to sit outside though while mom cleaned our cages this evening. It was an honor to vote you and so happy you won botd too. Oh I love getting in paper bags and love paper too so that is why mom did that picture of me. Its no unusal to see me sitting in a paper bag like that if I get one. I do bite though but mom says tis the way I am and she loves me unconditionally ...guess she is used to it after 8 years hihihi. We sure had a pretty day here in the burg! Mom washed all the throw rugs and hung them out to dry today.
