Active within 242 Days Hi! My name is Trixie I am an African Grey from Fort Walton Beach, FL. A nickname? Yes, Trixter when we suspect she is a trans-sexual bird... 15 years old F African Grey Favorite treat? Has to be Peanut Butter! Almonds, peanuts and green peas are good as well. Trixie spends all day atop her cage moving to her interior perch when ready for lights out - she is only closed in when she has been a naughty bird! Trixie cannot stand order... Put a marble in a bottle cap - cannot stay there! Should make for a fun training opportunity. He gives me this brown sticky stuff that smears all over my beak! Trixie does not seem to like me this year... We used to be inseperable. Who knows, there is always next year.. If at first you do not get a treat, squawk, squawk and squawk again..

Things do change for a couple years we seemed to be non-friends sharing several bloody battles. Now (last two - three weeks) the bird lets me scratch her cheeks, head and chin, feeling for pin feathers and even spits up kernels of joy to try and feed me. NO CLUE what changed. Hi Trixie Oh you are so silly.Mommy has actually stated wearing slippers because a few weeks ago I came into the kitchen when she was cooking and instead of just grabbing her toe I gave it a big bite and made her bleed.That will show her to wear that silly polish on her toes.Now she is scared that I will do it again so her toes stay covered.I still try and get through the slippers.Thanks for the warning though,if and when I see the eggnog come out I will stay clear I dont want to get hurt.Here is a vote Come visit me, Hulk Vote Luigi(225307)BOTM.	12/01/2009 01:08.53 PM	Report This Comment
