 I adopted him from the "Iowa Parrot Rescue" in Letts Iowa. We're not real sure what all he's been through but we know he doesn't like to be touched. He'll let me pet his beak a little but nothing else. He's stopped plucking and his feathers are starting to come back in.. |

We think you're really cute and am glad you're doing so well! How are you? What's it like being a 20 year timneh? I'm going to be three next month! I also really get a kick out of ripping up boxes. Sometimes I hide out in there, and make holes and special "secret" tunnels. I also meditate in there. I miss the box when I have to stay inside my cage. Here is a vote. Thanks for flying by my page. It is wonderful that you now have such a good home. You certainly have a fine looking flock there. It looks from your page info that you are making progress. Are you venturing out of your cage much yet? I like taking boxes apart too. Mom plays golf so she saves the boxes the golf balls come in for me to shread. I especailly like it when she puts something in the box to make it rattle. Then I know there is something in the box and I really go for it. Sometimes it is a treat and sometimes it is a toy. It doesn't matter really. Just having something in the box to go for is enough for me. Hope you are having a great day. I stopped by to check out your and your buddies. I love your name, but the budgies are pretty cute too. I really started laughing when I saw Opie. He, he, he. My mom may be young but she knows the whole gang.
Glad you got a good home. Hopefully you realize soon that you're safe now and start to really enjoy your life. My mom will be rescuing a Grey eventually too, but she doesn't have the time for one right now. Me and Canyon pretty much demand all her time.Come visit me, Canyon & Luna.
