I am a Congo African Grey from Grandville, MI.

Birdy is my nick name/name. My original owners just kinda called me Birdy, and never gave me a "name" name. I'm 12 now, and too old to learn a REAL name, and Birdy just *fits*!

I love pasta, and cheese crackers. I also am a huge fan of apples, and bananas, and mashed potatoes! Oh,and don't forget scrambled eggs and chicken!

I roam everywhere, really. I prefer my door perch, and the food dish, but I also have been known to hang out on counters and table tops. And occasionally, I have been spotted walking about the floor, investigating and causing random havoc for the woman, of course. It amuses me....

I don't like anyone but my Dad. End of story. I tolerate the woman sometimes, but only rarely.

He's is calm, and he always gives me the best scratches. He is great at copying the sounds I make, and we love whistling back and forth. (And we both tease the woman. Again, such amusement to us both....)

I do PERFECT mimics of extended Nextel "two-way" convos, phone sounds and all, I love chewing on cans and bottles, and climbing out of my cage to walk around and steal kid's toys to hoard in my cage for later chewings and investigation..
