OH NEARLY FORGOT IMPORTANT TO ALL!!! SPREAD THE WORD! Floop's Mom here. I spoke with someone from BC today and the news is as follows... Finnegan will get the award for BOTW and will be BOTD for Feb 1st and 2nd. Now, doing some thinking and talking with people - no matter what -the BOTM ALWAYS gets congrats and votes, so no matter what that bird has to be voted for to get the BOTD thing out of the way, so to speak. i am making a list, taken from the BOTW list from Floop and Rocky's page, and turning it into a BOTD list. So... on the 31st, we do as we have been all along. On the Sunday we don't have to vote for a BOTD because BC has everything in their hands. In order to get Floop out of the way, in a matter of speech, we start voting Floop on the 2nd of February for the 3rd, Grover (who was supposed to be the next BOTW) on the 3rd for the 4th and so on. There is noway we can change our pages daily to campaign any one bird, so I am asking you all to spread the word around to get over to Floop's page daily to see which bird is up next. I intend to do at least a week ahead. I will work on that one tonight. The list will be in the How We Met section, and I will put the month on top... Febrary and the list 1, 2, 3, and so on. The date listed will be the date we vote for that bird NOT the date we want that bird to win. Because Floop's page is going to be bombarded with emails, I am asking that for this month, while he is at te castle as BOTM, that any nominations for BOTD be emailed to me directly paulamtl@gmail.com I do not know all of you parronts, so PLEEEEZE tell me who you are and who your bird is so I can make the connection. I am going to ask any of you to copy and paste this around to help me out. I will copy this and paste it here again for the next few days so everyone will see it. See you all later. Hi Flash Scrappy here. Yep you got a great flock....mostly tiels. Although Sly and Kiwi would disagree somewhat. Mom is part of the rescue/adoption part of the bird club and can only take in smaller birds. Yeah it does get pretty busy around here. But it's a good kind of busy. Gotta fly for now. Hi from Lexie Hi Flash and gang! It's Lexie! We just now brought our baby bird home! Right now he is sleeping. As soon as I can, I'll take some pictures and start his website on BC. I was watching him from my cage, and was just so delighted to see another bird in my house. I thought I must be dreaming! He's not much fun yet though, he just sits quietly and stares back at me as if to say " Where am I at?, and who is that strange little tiel in the next cage?" Hi Flash Thanks for writing! Hey there! Yes We are so excited. The plan is to pick up the new baby bird tommorrow at around lunch time! They are calling for a couple inches of snow through the night tonight, and expecting the morning to be pretty messy outside, so we'll see how it goes! I hope we can get him tommorrow!
