 Well, sadly guys, Lemon died September 1 2012. She was turning four at the end of the month. It's hard to believe she's gone. Her cage isn't there and after three and a half years your heart sorta hallows at that. I find myself absent mindedly walking into where she used to be and standing near an empty corner. I play violin and I find myself waiting for her tweets. My mom said no more pets, and I understand. Why go through it twice. I knew she would die eventually, but it took me by surprise. How do you handle things like this? All I can say is, after you're done reading this, go play with your bird. Half an hour or five minutes, go and talk to them. Pet them. Sing to them. You never know how long you really have to do all these things until it's too late. - Lemon's Owner.. |
