Hey Oscar !
It got really warm and muggy all of a sudden here - I had to yell "wet, wet, wet" twice yesterday so mom would bring me my bath tub ! Then we sang songs and talked while I dried off . . . I love bath time :)

As if having to endure the little rug rat yesterday weren't bad enough - we have rain ALL week ! ! How depressing !
The baby nephew plans for the farm ? Well, it rained all day here ! I discovered one more thing - I'm way less work too ! Mom had to crawl all over the house after him. He's pretty funny though - he knows he's not allowed to touch the electronics, so what did he do all day ? Crawled over there while telling himself "no, no, no," the whole way ! Silly baby !

Whew . . .
I can't help but worry buddy - I'm glad you and mom are spending lots of quality time together :)
I wanted to, but tomorrow mom is babysitting her nephew - he's 14 months old so today we Landon-proofed the house. Jeeper, I think I'm way cuter, I'm way more fun and I can TALK ! Doesn't sound like a very good to be Cookie day :(

Yesterday is poured here
and poured and poured ! There rain records set ! Today had a couple showers but then the sun came out . . . more rain coming but then nice for Mother's Day. Morning Oscar !
We too, have had really nice weather ! And I love the feel of sunshine too - I can't wait till July when I get to go on vacation - the summer house has a screen in porch so I get to be on my gym !
Yesterday was g'mas birthday so everybody went out to dinner . . . didn't even bring home a birdie-bag ! Can you imagine, forgetting me ? It's like that here too !
The weather is perfect ! In fact I've been out on the back deck in my travel cage a couple times already ! The sun felt really good on my feathers and I got to yell at a squirrel in my tree !
I'm looking forward to summer when mom is home more and we can go out everyday :)

I love to watch out the window too !
In the spring when it's warm I especially love to yell at kids getting off the school bus in the afternoon ! Hahaha

What cha looking at ?
If you were at my house yesterday you would have seen an overturned garbage truck ! Who would think we'd be happy that the temperatures have been below average ? Ewwwwwww !
It is supposed to warm up by the weekend ! A new hummingbird feeder was put up in back so now I can watch for them when I'm stuck in my cage !

Our temps are only in the 50's so far - that means I can't be screaming at kids getting off the school bus yet :( Mom did switch her closets around - and then was sorry !

Birdsonally, I don't see how she could look anything besides quakers - we are the best !

G'mom's quaker laid an Easter egg ? Was it colored ? heeheehee
Don't worry about not getting by - it's been busy at my house too ! Spring seems to do that to mom. She wants to go out more now that it stays lighter at night.
Guess what ? I got a new cage ! The first thing I did was show mom that I knew how to open the food and water doors. I showed her this by dumping my water . . . twice ! I had a great Easter ! I got 4 eggs from the bunny - one had popcorn in it, one had almonds, one had a bell and one had nutriberries. I spent lots of time rolling them around on the table listening to the different noises and then rolling them off the table !

HAPPY SPRING !
Even if we still have about 6 inches of snow on the ground ! ! From yesterday ! I think somebody should mail a calendar to mother nature ! ! !
Last night mom had to get new glasses so she was home late :( I was really hungry and wanting some of her dinner . . .

Mom was so NOT paying attention to me last night I finally climbed to the highest perch on my gym (she calls it the yelling perch !) and screamed "Wet. wet, wet" so she would bring me my tub ! Sometimes her priorities are just not straight !

Our snow melted finally ! Now the sun is out - cold still but at least it's sunny :)

I am soooo tired of winter ! Although when we ended up with almost 10 more inches of snow on Friday and mom stayed home, I must admit I was pretty excited ! Especially since yesterday and today were nearing 50 degrees, so mom didin't even have to shovel ! Mother Nature took care of her own mess ! Meanwhile me and mom played :) Good times :)

Icky weather here too
In fact we have freezing rain now ! I'm playing with my measuring cups - I carry one to the top of my cage and throw it off and listen to the crash and watch mom come running, or I bang one on the cage bars (bang, bang, bang) and watch mom come running ! Morning Oscar !
Well, we fared well ! Only about 16 inches of snow and the power stayed on ! What a relief . . . mom was outside clearing a path to feed the outdoor flock and they were all sitting there watching and waiting for thier breakfast :) Very cute !
Because of the state of emergency, cars aren't allowed on the roads so that means quality Cookie time today !

Well, we're hunkering down for today's storm - being just north of NYC, we're in the blizzard warning area with 18-24 inches of snow heading our way ! As long as the power stays on I'm OK - I've got plenty of food and toys ! I think the humans do too !

I've been hormonal . . . I haven't let mom out of my sight for a couple days - I scream every time she leaves the room ! So it was good news to hear that we're in for 15+ inches of snow on Friday ! That should keep her at my wing and talon all weekend :)

We are having a heat wave in NY ! It's going up into the 20's later today ! At least there's been no snow since Friday night - the plows woke mom up - now she wants a different bedroom that doesn't face the road !

Yesterday's ice is gone
and we're up to the 40's - there's even a strange unidentifiable yellow object in the sky ! Hooray - maybe spring will come one day !
