I contacted a bird rescue and was interested in an African Gray but when DH and I got there I found Val and I guess it was love at first site.He headed straight up to my shoulder and acted like he had always been there..

Active within 1225 Days Hi! My name is Valentino I am a Blue-and-Gold Macaw from Sheffield, AL. 10 years old M Blue-and-Gold Macaw Tangerines and bananas,a piece of dog food when he can sneak it. My bed, the bathroom ,and the deck. He can't stand our Umbrella Cockatoo and is not crazy about bats. Mom and Dad spoil me,take me to the park when the weather is warn and to drive up windows where the people in the glass box really seem to like me!!They talk to me and everybody comes to see me. He likes to play on his back.He will lay his head down on the door of his cage and scratch his head.We have to hide the dogfood to keep him out of it.He loves to go in the bathroom vanity and throw everything out and chew on the doors.. Keep me happy and spoiled !!.

hello Well it me sergeant its nice to meet you! So far i have layed 2 eggs, my parents are thinking that i will be laying more eggs soon becuase the area that the egg leaves my body does not look normal yet. mom thinks that i will be laying another egg with in 24 hrs. i hope she is wrong, its painful. my mom has put down a lot of soft things at the bottom of my cage so the egg does not break this time around. also im posting a photo of my egg on my page so come check it out. i will let you now if any more eggs come out! Hi Valentino: Welcome to the club! Let me be the first to vote for you. You sound like quite a character. My life wasn't good until I came to live with my "forever" family. So I'm not as out going as you. But I do get better all the time, in little ways. Mom is so excited everytime I do something that is more interactive. When I first came here I just stared out into space. Now I'm talking and showing my wings when I'm asked to. I also play "peak a boo" Stop by and visit.
