Sure we can be friends! I don't have that many friends. I've never seen a parrotlet before but parrotlets look alot like lovies. We are both very small but have big beaks! Good things come in small packages LOL.

Oh Lucy is definitely a Pacific Parrotlet. Lutino is her color. I'm currently called a Dilute, but I used to be called an American Yellow. That means I have black eyes, and as you can see, I'm not as bright a yellow as Lucy. You, my dear, are a gorgeous blue, I believe, although there are some blues that are called turquoise---I'm not really up on all the latest stuff--but you could check on the International Parrotlet Society page...they might have some stuff there.
Now as for blog sites devoted just to us--I know there is a parrotlet group on facebook--I don't think it's terribly active, but you could try that. I think there's a Yahoo group, too. And there's a group at www.commandobirdies.com--they're funny, but a little strange. Check it out and you'll see what I mean.
All us parrotlets are nibbly things. Some of us bite more than others--We're so little we have learned to protect ourselves in the wild, so we can be pretty fierce if we have to. And of course, we're parrots, so chew chew chew, shred, shred shred----that's our day! I personally like to give my Mommies manicures, bite the soft parts of their necks when I'm displeased, and chew paper and cloth the rest of the time.
