 ROLLER SKATING AT THE MILONGA!!!
Date: Saturday, June 22
Place: Milonga page #165848
Time: 8PM EDT; 7PM CDT; 6PM MDT; 5PM PDT; 2PM HAWAII
Yes, everybirdy, get out your roller skates, because it is gonna be a Skating Milonga. You sure won't want to miss it. First on the agenda is some amazing Couples Skating from SweetPepper & Kiddo, Scoober & Chyna, Hulk & Squeaky and Willie & Callie. They will demonstrate the fine points of dancing on skates, and these exhibition displays will be amazing!
Then we will have racing! There are 25 birds competing for the title of Fastest Bird on the BC. There will be 5 heats of 5 birds each. 1st and 2nd place winners will then compete in the Semi-Finals, and the 1st and 2nd place winners from those heats will be in the Final Race with the winner taking the coveted title.
Once your skating fever is pumped up by those races, it will be "All Skate" for the rest of the evening to the tunes of Sam and the Scruffy Birds Band. Whether you are an eggspert or a beginner, you will want to enjoy skate time. We birds are naturals at this.
And last, but certainly not least, the food will be prepared by our very own BC gourmet chef, Lizzie. She will be bringing out her best for this one, so come hungry! Plus the bar will be supplied and run by the TPB&G, so come thirsty too!
That about covers it, my friends, so mark your calendar now and make sure your parronts don't forget!!

HAPPY HUMPDAY
remember the old stories about cleopatra bathing it milk. well it turns out it has its benefits. if you take whole milk, and make it icy cold, then dip a cloth in it and place over your eyes the lactic acid in the milk reduces puffiness and swelling while the fat content in the milk soothes the eye and skin. dont use skim milk only whole milk.
i have some good news about me. mom attempted to give me my medicine and it squirted out of my beak zall over my face so mom attempted a second time and i got half of it down. at that point mom decided to give me a bath to wash all the sticky medicine off. then she took me outside to dry off my feathers in the sin. she made me flap and flap my wings to shake off the excess water. i became slightly out of breath and mom did not detect any bad smell coming from my breath. slo the medicine did work. i am so happy.

Well if your moms procedure isn't until 7/11 the doctor must not be concerned or he would have had it done much sooner. That's good news for your mom. I'm glad that you are giving her lots of kisses so that she doesn't worry and can relax. We will keep her in our prayers!
Really happy to hear that your moms PT is going well. Is her shoulder feeling better?
I wasn't able to make it to the game today......but when I can't get there for the game I always go back and read the blogs! Wow, what a game that was! The games have been soooo exciting! I am loving the baseball season!

Will my being with the band make a difference? I mean I can have songs scheduled where I wouldn't be needed for this one slot....Let me know if that's not a doable thing.
