 One day, my friend called me up to tell me there was a parrot in his back yard. He knew I was a bird person, so I went over and sure enough, there was a quaker parrot on his porch. After many bites, I was able to lure her into a cage. I tried to trace her band, but had no luck, so shes been my friend ever since.. |

Ç°> It's a very Sad Day
Just swooping by to say it is a sad day for my flockily today. Our Boxer, Guinan, left us for the Rainbow Bridge this afternoon. Guinan would have been 11 years old, had she lived to her next birthday on July 4. We will all miss her terribly, but especially Mom and Dad. Guinan was Mom’s 40th birthday gift to Dad. ~~ About 6 weeks ago, Guinan was diagnosed with a brain tumor. And after giving medication a chance to work to allow her to be symptom free, it became obvious that she was losing ground. Today, Mom and Dad talked to Guinan’s Dr. Tom, and the three of them decided that the tumor was growing much too fast for them to be able to give her any more good quality time with us. So we said our goodbyes, and made sure that our Rosalie Hale Bopp would be at the gates to the Rainbow Bridge, just this side of heaven, to greet Guinan and introduce her to the flockily she will be spending time with until all of us are together again. ~~ Please join me, Mom, Dad, my fiblings, and our kitties in a prayer for Guinan’s safe jouney to The Bridge, and for peace and comfort for those of us who remain behind. May we give and rely on each other’s strength in our sorrow, You can see her picture at the bottom of the my page. Not much happening here today except that the game "Where on the Bird Channel are Buddy and Jake" and I cannot play because Jake's is my brother. That ok I have more fun playing on daddy shoulder. We had a bad storm come through last night with lots of wind and rain,but it is sunny and nice today. Update on Daddy: he had is third injection Friday and it is helping with the pain. Ç°> Good Morning
This is Black Op's commodore Big Sissy (Rosalie Hale Bopp) bring you a status report. Secret Agents Warrior Princess (Leah), Cowboy (Daddy), and Zoo Keeper (Mommy) have completed phase 2 of BLACK OP's OPERATION "AJ" and I will turn it over to Secret Agent Warrior Princess to complete the briefing. The unclassified details of the operation are the following. Myself and Ruby ran the Black Op's side of the operation out of Camp Get Acquainted . My job was to run interference for Field Agents Cowboy and Zoo Keeper as they made the 2000 mile trip to Ohio and then to Michigan and back to Charleston SC. Agent Cowboy had a job interview in Ohio on Friday and they spent the night at Zoo Keeper skin brother's place. They had to rent a second car to make the trip into Michigan because the SC car rental place would not let them go into Michigan with the unlimited mileage rate. On Saturday they made their way into Michigan and there they adopted our new flock mate "Charles Riley Jake" You can read the unclassified Intel about Charles Riley Jake using the following code on the BC 66865. On Sunday they made the long trip home to Charleston SC. You can see a picture of Jake at the bottom of my page. Agent Cowboy was very glad that the car had heated seats. They helped with his back. The second round of injections have reduced his back pain by about 70%. I am glad that Operation AJ is over and that I am at home with my mommy and daddy again. Mom and I ( jazz)does this trick she says bang your dead and I lay on my back and play dead I Really like it when she swings me upside down. So you get along with the Cockatiels We have Cockatiels and I don't like them I ( Jazz) try and bite them or chase the tiels hehe this gets me in to trouble. Kiwi gets along with them just fine she likes the Tiels .The head bobing is fun I ( Jazz) do it to. Mom calls it the Quaker Dance.
