This month's milonga will be a celebration of our nation's birthday (and for our northern neighbors also: Canada Day!!)

Date: Saturday, July 23rd
Time: 8PM EDT
Place: Milonga page #165848

Whether you were able to celebrate on the 1st and/or 4th of July or not, this party will be your chance to say We Love You to our countries, both the USA and Canada. We will have a lot of wonderful activities for everybirdy to participate in. Do you sail? How about speed boats? If you want to live even more dangerously the jet skis are for you. And for those who are perhaps a little more timid we will have kayaks. And the best part?? These are all races! The sail boats will be crews of up to four birds, so talk to your birdy buddies and get together a team. Let Ranebeau or me know right away what kind of water race appeals to you.

Then after all that fun we will meet on the beach for a wonderful BBQ picnic. Lizzie will feature her Dragon Fire Ribs, but there will be lots more goodies to go with them. (I think you can count on Sweet Potato Fries!!)

Next we will move up to the bandstand to enjoy music by the official milonga band, Sam and the Scruffy Birds. Dance the night away while fireworks go off above your head. Could anything be more beautiful???

So get your water gear and your dancing shoes out of the closet, because you know where you will want to be this weekend!! See you there!

Hey Moto Moto, We've very glad you stopped by to visit with us. Those chicks sound darling. We have had chicks too (as many as 60 at one time). We live on a 160 acre farm in northern Michigan where the weather is very cold in the Winter. So we can only raise them in the warmer weather. Usually that is between May and September. We still have to use a heat light even though its warm during the day. We also have Peacocks. We've had as many as thirteen but now we only have seven because the pack of coyotees also got some of them. I HATE coyotees! There are three of us birds in the house and the rest, are outside birds. We truly live in a bird haven. Stop by again and tell us how those chicks are doing.

Vote for Fwanky 129662 BOTW & Floop 91788 BOTM
Hi Moto Moto,
I am happy to be your friend and to vote for you. Did you go by to meet Royal the Rooster? I should you two would have a lot in common. Maybe you could get BC to add rooster as a category of bird, so you guys don't have to do the "almost thing" for your bird type. It just isn't fair~!~
Don't forget to vote for Floop, please. You can vote for him thru the end of this month.

Come visit me, Kiddo loves SweetPepper!.

Hi Moto Moto,
Yes, we are friends now. And have you met my friend Royal? He is a rooster too, and you can find him on page #155455. Just change the 166291 in the URL bar at the top of your page, and it will take you right to him. I am sure he would love to meet you.
And have you had a chance to get by Floop's page to vote for him? I hope you will, because he will make a really good BOTM.
Would you like me to add you to the guest list for the next party (2/20)? I think you would have a good time.

Come visit me, Kiddo loves SweetPepper!.

Hi Moto Moto,
Here is a vote for you, and I thought you might want to learn a little about this wonderful website you have signed up for.
BC is a social club for birds. Don't let anybirdy tell you it is an information site for your parronts; it just isn't true. It is for and all about making friends with all the other birds here. We have virtual parties that are a blast, and I know you would love attending one. The next one that is currently scheduled is the monthly milonga party (name borrowed from Argentinian Tango clubs). You can find the details on the Milonga 2010 page #165848. To navigate to a page by number you simply go up to the URL bar at the top of the page and change the number at the end of the string to 165848 and hit enter. It will take you to the page you want. (Your own personal number is the one currently showing.)
Another fun thing about the BC is voting for your favorite birds. There are awards for BOTW (Bird of the Week) and BOTM (Bird of the Month), and there is always some birdy campaigning for your vote. You can see who is running by going to the BOTW schedule on Rocky's page #16847. Currently cute little Fwanky #129662 is running for BOTW. The BOTM candidate can be learned by going to the BOTM Calendar page #144395 (maintained by moi!!), and the wonderful bird who is running for BOTM right now is my dear friend Floop, a very handsome macaw. He sure would like to meet you and would certainly appreciate your vote. You can vote once each day, and every vote counts toward that bird winning an award.
I truly hope you enjoy your time on BC. Come by to visit me. I sure would like to get to know you better.

Welcome to the club Moto Moto and Surviror. Let me be the first to vote for you. Mom has chickens too. She named our Banty Rooster Tenacious after he was the only survivor when a pack of coyotees killed the rest of the flock (12 chickens). You are beautiful chickens.
