Coco was rescued from an abusive situation. His owner was trying to sell him, and when we saw the conditions he was living in (dark basement, no food, loud screeching around him) we threatened to turn the owner over to the authorities for cruelty if he did not give us all the birds, which he did. COco had a plucking problem since before he came to us, but we love him anyway!.

Coco Monster 21 years old M Blue-and-Gold Macaw Food...any kind He especially likes pasta w/veggies On top of his cage tearing apart paper rolls, tearing paper in the bottom of his cage or on my shoulder when I'm at the computer Being in his cage during the day Cassie on his cage The shower They take me with them when they go out in the summertime He talks to himself at night after his cage is covered He yells "Hello" in the morning when he wants to be uncovered He loves to go to tag sales with us in the summer Makes his "Afro" look when he is trying to be intimidating to Cassie, who is bigger than him. .

Coco, I read your blog to Roofy and just had to stop by and visit for a moment. I am a rescued Blue and Gold too with a bare tummy. It makes mom so mad that anyone could treat any animal, let alone beautiful birds like us, so terribly. You are in my book just goreous. And don't let anyone tell you differently. Was the rest of your flock rescued to? Mom had a Double Yellow head for 32 years before she rescued Cody and me. So I live with one of THOSE too! Mine is very bossy...is yours? I went to vote for you but there no vote button comming up on your web page. I really want to vote but I don't know what to do :( Stop by for a visit please. Plucking problem I used to have a problem with plucking a couple years ago. My mommy misted every day got some new treats and toys, and then I was fine.
