 he was in the penny saver and no body wanted him 'cause he bit to much,but i changed that.one day cinnamon was in the kitchen with me and then my sister came and opened the door and he flew out.sonny almost went out with him.they got scared and every time that a door opens and there next to it(even if there wings are clipped)i freak out because i dont want to lose another.. |

Valentino here stopping by to say hello and give you a vote. Thank you for stopping by. Our Easter was fabulous. I got hard boiled eggs. One of my favorites. Mom has been visiting my new brother. He is coming over to visit this weekend after his tests come back and Dr says he can now visit. I cannot wait to meet him. He is a blue and gold and 6 years old. Mom named him Mic, Mic Jaeger because he has this funny tongue action he does. He wont be living with us until the end of April. I am excited! I'm a cinnimon mutation cockatiel from N.Y. I came home with my mom in April. She is so loving and kind. I hope cinnamon is ok. That is so sad. I am sorry. I know I will never fly away. Hola!
That is so sad to hear your feathered loved one flew away. I once had a cockatiel that I had outside with a leash, but I wasnt holding onto it tightly and a loud noise scared her. She took flight and I was devastated. And then a miracle - a man on the corner of the block brought her back saying he found her in his backyard. I was relieved and couldnt stop thanking him. Just shows nice people still do exist in the world! PS: I give you my vote!Come visit me, Alex & Alice.

Hi Cinnamon-
Thanks for visiting us! Pita is pictured with our quaker "lucky". They are best pals- isn't that odd?? Before lucky, we had a green quaker named "Tigger" for a year. Tigger was our dominant bird, Pita loved him. (Tigger wasn't as infatuated). Tigger flew out my front door when I went to let our dog back in. He missed my shoulder and he went right out. I was so heartbroken, we saw him that first day, but he was so spooked I couldn't get him. Pita kept calling for him, everyday (and the goose-call thing was actually started by tigger- Pita picked it up once he went missing). You should have seen Pita when we came home with lucky ( lucky has his own site, check him out to find out hom we got him!) anyway, Pita was smitten and called him "tigger" for a few days. Now they are inseperable!! They love each other- but not our other blue quaker Tiko. Sorry to hear about your loss. My hahn's macaw got out and was out for 4 days, but I was fortunate enough to get her back and still thanking God each and every day. Now I never take my birds out without a harness on or in their cage. (LuLu) pictured in the prevue poetry contest on page 4, with a poem in regards to her flying away.
